Cafe Dolma - Since 1984 | Majnu ka Tila - Tibetan restaurant in Delhi - Central, India

My visit to the Tibetan cafe left me with mixed feelings. My friends and I were eager to indulge in some delicious momos and other Tibetan delicacies, so we headed to the rooftop section of the cafe. To our surprise, it was quite empty, which we initially found promising for a peaceful meal. However, our enthusiasm dwindled as we experienced the service. It was disappointing, to say the least. The waitstaff seemed disinterested and inattentive, making us feel like an afterthought. What added to our disappointment was the pricing - it felt overpriced for the quality of service and food we received. On the brighter side, the cafe did offer a pleasant ambiance. The rooftop seating provided a nice view, and the decor was reminiscent of Tibetan culture, creating a soothing atmosphere. In the end, the subpar service overshadowed the positive aspects. While the ambience had potential, the overall experience was just "okay okay." If they can improve their service quality and pricing, it could be a gem for Tibetan cuisine enthusiasts, but until then, it's a hit-or-miss dining option.

Cafe Dolma is a cute and cozy place that has old yet beautiful corners where you can relax and relish the food. We ordered Clear Soup, Thenthuk Veg, and a Tingmo. Thenthuk Veg was exceptional and the other two items were decent. The service is prompt and the staff is ultra-generous. Visit this place to experience good food at a pocket-friendly price amidst a lovely aura.

Absolutely a must visit. Try Momos with soup (don't remember the name of the dish), honey ginger lemon tea, gravy momos, thukpa, Honey Chilli Potato. Can try their shakes and coffee. Italian section is also good.

Visited Cafe Dolma - Since 1984 | Majnu ka Tila for the first time. I am a momos lover and heard a lot about this place, Majnu ka Tila. So, I decided to visit this place with my wife and ordered devil veg momos. The price was around 160 bucks. And believe me, guys, I visited almost all the best places in Delhi to hunt for the best paneer momos, whether they were steamed, fried, or tandoori. I loved them at so many places like QD at Pacific Neta Ji, Indus Flavour, Momos Point Subhash Nagar - everywhere. But this one at Dolma Cafe, it tasted authentic, different, and I did not feel guilty even after eating for a longer period of time. It did not make me feel like drinking water or anything. Seriously, I felt like having homemade momos. Being a paneer momos lover, I never thought I am going to say this - that even veg momos with the ingredients of cabbage, veggies, and paneer can taste so delicious and yummy. So, 5 stars from my end. I will visit again soon and will try more dishes. One last thing I forgot to mention - the rate is only 160 bucks, lolz :) After a month i tried again their jhol momos and they are also taste delicious

Food is exceptionally tasty. The service isn't upto mark, as staff is not visible most of the time, although the bar is always filled with staff, but very few people to take food orders.. You can enjoy great view on rooftop seating. Also the elevator is very small, slow and sealed, you might feel suffocation for a second.

This Cafe is an enchanting haven, offering a breathtaking view of the iconic Signature Bridge. The view alone is worth the visit, but the real star here is the incredible food. The momos, in particular, steal the show - the jhol momos and shanghai chicken momos are absolute delights. If you're a fan of hearty comfort food, their thenthuk is a must-try. And don't miss out on the delectable carrot cake, a perfect ending to a memorable meal. What makes Dolma Cafe even more special is its romantic outdoor rooftop setting, adding a touch of magic to the dining experience.

Was worst experience. I had packed food for home thupka and momos. They don't know how to pack all the broth of the thupka fell down as they used thin styrofoam container to pack. Also they didn't pack chilli mono chutney. I ordered a fried chicken momo they dipped fried chicken momo besan and cornflake and fried it and packed it. Adding the pics. I don't know what to do. Would like to f them and their mf restaurant.

Okay taste, The food wasn't served hot, pathetic way of serving momos, they just gave us the aluminium momo steamer instead of the bamboo basket. Really disappointed after paying a hefty amount.
