A beautiful cafe with peaceful and amazing ambience. They have outside seating as well as cafe seating for dine in. The dishes are bit overpriced. But the vibe of the place is nice. Good customer service as well.

It contained hardly any chicken and just one pack Maggie served. It costed around Rs 220.
The beach view from this place is great.

Average taste. The masala is fine. It is normal chicken fry. Not kabab.
The place looks okay from outside , it's located right next to ZOSTEL , but this place is underrated i tell you.
The good here is just absolutely amazing , best food that you can find in gokarna , not even exaggerating.
Tea , pakoras , gravy all were top notch .
Also prices were pretty pocket friendly.
Must try breakfast or lunch or dinner at this place.

It was a serendipity for us. We're so surprised by the vibe at this restaurant and we plan to visit again soon. Food was delicious and spicy just the way we wanted. We had ordered gobi 65, onion pakoda, peanut masala, chi.chilly and fried rice.
If you're seeking delicious food and a delightful outdoor dining ambiance in Gokarna, Malgudi Cafe is highly recommended. With its amazing views, you can take a walk around the cliff while your food is being prepared. The cafe offers very reasonable prices, and the staff is exceptionally friendly, and provides great service.

About Cafe: Located nearly 1KM up the hill from Gorkarna Main Bus stand, this cafe serves good food but the other facilities are yet to be developed.
Cafe has place to sit and from right side seating Gokarna main beach and sea is visible.

Pricing is ok but the management is yet to learn the professionalism.
Now coming to the other aspects:
This place is being developed and still needs many other modern basic facilities with good infrastructure.
We were there for new year celebration and opted for camp tent as accomodation and included tickets for music Festival and food but trust me it was horrible experience.

It was just money making business for the owner and event organizers. They weren't bothered for customer's healthy experience.
If you opt for stay then better be choosing anything else. But if you want to try a tea, snack or just for few hours hangout in the cafe you can try.
Cafe de Malgudi is just the best place to stay in Gokarna. I didn't stay here and only went for lunch and looking at the view I regretted that I didn't chose this place.
I had biryani over here which was too good. It satisfied my soul. A must visit during your trip to Gokarna.
