Cafe Coffee Day - Cafe in Kolkata, New Town - 24 Paraganas North, India

This is kinda like my go-to place in CC2. Love the place. Especially as I am alone most of the time, it's good to have a cup of coffee, and just relax here. Also when I visit with friends. I remember I also celebrated my mother's birthday here a couple of years back. It's a nice place.

One of the worst places in New Town for hanging out and having coffee. The staff is unmannered, lacking knowledge, and the manager (Love Chakrabarti) is illiterate. My family and I used to go there almost every Sunday for coffee with my mom and wife. Last week, I went there and was the first customer at 9:30 AM. I asked for a Cappuccino Large. The lady at the cash counter told me, 'Sir, I can't take an order for a single item as my manager instructed me to take orders for at least two items.' The interesting part is that 90% of the items on the menu were not available. I then added a Coffee Mocha to the order. Now, she insisted I pay by credit card only because PhonePe hasn't been working for a while. This was strange since I had already made a payment on August 15th through PhonePe. She said, 'The manager told me not to accept PhonePe.' When I asked to pay in cash, she said, 'Sir, I don't have 20 rupees change. I don't have a single rupee, so you need to give the exact amount.' This situation made me feel uncomfortable, and I requested to speak with the manager, Love. He answered the call, and she handed the phone to him, saying that a customer wanted to talk to him. To my shock, he hung up without saying a word. At that point, we decided to leave and went to Starbucks instead, where there were many customers. It was then that I realised why Starbucks is thriving while Cafe Coffee Day is facing losses. I wouldn't recommend going to Cafe Coffee Day. The price difference for a Cappuccino is only 20 rupees.

It's was my first coffee at CCD and it was not quite well. Comes to cleanings, some dead cockroaches was lying below my table, wall was dirty. The taste of coffee was average, Sorry to say this but my mother can make much good coffee than CCD that I can say after tasting their ones.

A friend had a meeting and we requested the staff to lower the music. They happily complied and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The coffees were fantastic as usual. A big thank you to the staff for helping us out.

CCD is always my favourite place for coffee. This joint is situated at the ground floor at CC2 mall beside tea junction. Small and cozy place with 12-14 seating arrangement. I would like to visit again for their amazing brownies and coffees.

I have visited almost all different coffee franchisee like Starbucks, tim hortons etc.Usually people come to coffee shops to spend some quality time! However, this particular outlet, the staff are so so pathetic that I could not even sit for 20 mins in the outlet as they were in a hurry to serve other customers. And this happened with many of my fellow customers too. This kind of service with this mentality is really really cheap on the part of franchise like CCD. Worthless foolish staff! Need to change the attitude or close the store.

The place offers a nice ambience with good routine coffee. However, the fusion summer mocktails are not upto the mark.

I'm neither coffee lover nor a tea lover, but went there with friend. It's a good place, good tea/coffee option. Especially it has a decent desert option and some quick bites also.
