Cafe Coffee Day - Cafe in Kovilpatti, Perayyampatti - Virudhunagar, India

Had the unfortunate experience of visiting CCD at NH44, Kovilpatti in Oct 2023. The CCD is attached with a HP COCO pump. We ordered sandwiches and drinks after checking availability and were told to wait for 10 minutes. We waited outside initially but as it was too hot, with no garden umbrellas, broken furniture and tiles outside we were forced to sit inside. However even after 55 minutes we did not get the food. When I checked with the counter, I came to know there is only one person working, handling everything. I called the regional manager, he however only said that only one person is available. It's totally unjustified to expect one person to manage the whole shop especially when there are 10-15 customers waiting. We lost more than an hour of travel time due to this which is not acceptable. The ambiance also was not great. There is a lot of broken furniture and cleanliness levels were not as per CCD standards. With employees being exploited and overworked, this is a serious issue, and just for the sake of the employees, avoid going here if you see more than 4/5 customers in the store.

The cafe in a great spot has a lot of chances to do well, but it's not being looked after properly. This means it's not as good as it could be. The people running it should take better care of it to make it a great place for customers.

Nice place. Like any other CCD.. next to HP petrol pump and on the NH44. Place was clean and neat. Staff was nice and very helpful.. Crunchy frappe and chicken sandwich were good.

Coffee is great. Order different types of coffee and all the flavours are great. Location is not far from the highway. Just inside a Gas Station. Order was taken and served little late after a customer who came after us.

No AC No credit card payment options No items on the menu Long wait times When asked for to go cup, the server said that he cannot give them as the cups are audited. Very bad experience. I would rather give it a miss

We stopped there for a light lunch. But the moment we stepped in, it felt like a pre-heated oven. It's my very first this kind of experience with "Cafe Coffee Day". Guess they weren't expecting any customers, so they completely switched off all air conditioners. This brand is my favorite one. It is known for its ambiance. I have been to the remotest Cafe Coffee Day, and I would say I have never come across a situation where the cafe was burning hot. Food was also very average. Service was ok ok

Located on highway. If you are expecting typicall CCD kind of atmosphere then better avoid this place. I have visited this place as we don't have anything close to CCD kind of coffee shop in my city. Service is fast and sitting area is also good. Cleanliness need to be improved and washroom is not clean either. Anyways visit this place for quick bite.
