Cafe Coffee Day - Cafe in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

The experience this time was quite disappointing compared to the earlier experiences. The Staff were not at all welcoming. No enthusiasm shown in their deeds rather all were busy with their mobiles. A clear symptom of a brand losing its charm.

We ordered two double decker grill chicken sandwich which was worst of all... Firstly the sandwich was not sandwich it tasted like a rusk biscuit which was so overbaked. Plus there was no mayonnaise no veggies just few slices of chicken and cheese. And above that half of the things were not available.. Highly disappointed.

This CCD is situated at the ground floor of HUB mall. Visible from the main road and easy to locate. However Our experience here was not good. We had ordered a lychee frappe and two cold coffee one with and another without jelly beans. The frappe was too sweet for my liking and the ice in the frappe was not crushed properly. I could feel ice chunks while sipping the frappe. There was whipped cream as topping to the frappe as well. No spoons were given. I had to use my paper straw to have the whipped cream. The straw also became soggy after few sips. The cold coffee had huge ice chunks and the taste was very bland as well. The cold coffee with jelly beans had no jelly beans. Service was not great. The place is not kept properly, The overall look and feel was very dull and shabby. Furniture were not cleaned properly as well and the staff was not very welcoming either. They informed us that their card machine was not working properly and I had to pay the bill in parts - major amount in card and remaining by cash. When given the feedback about the items, the staff didn't seem to like it and started giving justification. They went on to tell us that it was how those things were supposed to be made. When asked for the bill I had to wait for about 10 mins to receive a manual bill. Overall it was a waste of time and money. NOT a pleasant experience.

Worst experience. It all depends on the branch. Every CCD in the city serves different quantity and quality and the Hub CCD is the worst. Chilli cheese toast has no cheese. And smoked chicken sandwich has no mayonnaise nothing. It's completely dry. They have put on sliced tomatoes and onion and tomato sauce and has completely destroyed the taste. I had this in Bangalore and Delhi and in other branches of Guwahati. It was really good. This is worst here. But you cannot point out to the service ladies. Very ignorant and the same time not sincere with their work. Never gonna come. It used to be good once but not anymore. I am eating only because I paid Rs.530 for this nonsense.

Not much of the items in the menu are available. Tried Caffe Latte, it was good. Staffs are courteous and professional. Gets crowdy at times. Seating arrangements at the top floor aren't upto the mark. All in all, a good place for your dates or some long chats with your friends.

Pros: Nice place to hangout...good ambiance and stuff...good to sit down for some time and have a nice conversation and a cup of coffee Cons: Quite expensive(In most cases you will not find the prices reasonable..i paid Rs570 for 2 cappuccinos)...and secondly you won't find all items on that menu Advice: If you are on a date , better don't forget to take your wallet and your debit cards HAPPY COFFEE TIME FOLKS !!

Another regular CCD but the service is dead slow and they don't have a washroom. Everything else is usual, along with a view of the main road. So it's a good place to sit down and have a coffee after a long tiresome day. 3 stars as nothing stood out.

My first visit's experience here was great. Very peaceful place to discuss and plan and spend time with friends. Attaching few photographs of interior of CCD.
