Cafe Bakewell - Restaurant in Indore - Indore, India

Hello Guys Been thinking of visiting the place since long, the place is famous, ambiance is classic cafe/restaurant with mix sitting facility, the menu has wide variety of options for veg. I ordered French fries, Cheese chatni sandwich (good), chopati sandwich jumbo (average but really jumbo) and chinese platter -veg noodles and chilly panner (good) The service is also quick, hard to get quick service now a days, Hospitality is good, didn't had to wait even for water. Overall it was a good experience, will visit again.

The place is good. Rs 200-400 per person I visited the place for the love of veg lollipops - they are delicious, the best and irreplaceable in the city. Anyone looking for some good veg Lollipops should definitely visit here. I also ordered veg noodles here which was fine not extraordinary. Anytime I'd visit the place again, it'll be for the veg lollipops. A good place to visit with family.

My partner and I were seated next to each other, as most couples do, and we ordered a single pastry. Unexpectedly, a service member approached us and began acting inappropriately with us. He verbally ordered us to sit apart and told other employees to give us separate plates so we wouldn't eat from the same dish. Why would we request an additional dish if we only ordered one pastry and don't need it? This treatment of us was so absurd, just because we were a couple. We were taken aback mostly because despite visiting several locations, no one had ever treated us in this manner. Additionally, the taste of the pastry wasn't that good. Not worth my money. Couples shouldn't go there, specifically, in my opinion.

Veg lollipops had burnt outer shell and hazel nut cold coffee didn't have hazel nut flavour at all. I raised the issue with staff so they offered to replace the coffee but I declined. I ordered and ate here a lot during college but feels like their food quality has declined

Given the prices ...The quality, ambience can be bettered. I love their choclate pastries but today we bought 3 pastries and 1 of them was stale. Even after complaining to the counter staff he didn't accept needless to say he should have changed it. Aaj k zamane bhi such services.

Visited here with family, food quality is good but not authentic , pizza were good, but Chinese items were lagging in taste and prepration, heavy coating of cornflour on small piece of chicken, rates are moderate. AC was not working feel too hot and smeliwhile dinner.cafeteria is lagging in cleanliness.and food service One can not plan here with sopiscticated people & friends .Parking is big problem here in crown palace most of the car they park on road and apposit to hotel.need improvement.

Cafe Bakewell is the coffee shop for Hotel Crown Palace. Its easily visible from the road. They have a parking lot thats common with the parent hotel. So u r likely to find it full, especially on weekends. But they do have complimentary valet parking. So not a big issue. They have a few tables on the outside. With plants around, its quite enjoyable in the evening. Inside is chic. The ambience is very good, but seating is limited. The food was not up to the mark. Compared to the price the amount, I felt was inadequate. The presentation of food was not up to the mark. We had to ask for the plates n forks n spoons n tissues. Its basically self-service, aided by a few waiters. We had ordered Chicken pastas, one in red sauce n one in white. The taste again was not exceptional...just ok. With tht, a chicken sizzler, which was too sweet. We had also ordered a chicken fry, which had 6 small pieces of boneless chicken. The taste was ok, but the quantity was less. We had also ordered cold cappuccinos which were fabulous...they hd a range of cold coffees. I wud like to try their kit kat coffee. The fresh lime soda was awesome too. The service was poor. The food came pretty fast. But the waiters seemed to b biased in some way...giving attention to a few. I had to raise my voice as a last resort to get some water. So I realized may be u will hv to b a little loud to get heard!!! They have a unisex washroom which is small but reasonably clean. Went for dinner. Here we get all kind of food items and bakery items. Even South Indian dishes are available here. Place is neatly maintained having good ambiance. We tried Aloo parata and Dosa items. Both are good in taste. Its self service counter, but they serve food to table. Bake Well opens till 2 am. Here we get good variety of cakes
