After nearly four weeks of trying out different restaurants and fast food corners for the most authentic momo, this was the only place that managed to live up to my expectations. It was yummy, juicy and the soup was just how it should be (clear soup with no corn starch or other condiments added to it). What I most liked about this place is that unlike other places, including the ones that have been around for decades, this place has so far stuck to the good old simple recipe(Thank God, it wasn't another YouTube recipe disaster). While we are here, can I also mention their coffee? It was also the best in town. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a pic. The only heads up I have for you would be the preparation time. So if you are in a hurry, please go elsewhere(a fast food corner would be better suited).This place is meant for you to chill and catch up with friends while they do their magic in the kitchen. Or, maybe you could give them a call prior in case its a planned outing. I thoroughly enjoyed my food & time there. 5 stars because I wasn't in a rush so I didn't mind the long wait. However, this could possibly frustrate others. Please, do please continue to keep it simple, like the kind of food that was available in Diphu much before all the YouTube experiments started :D Cheers! And good luck with your venture.
Writing this review after I cleaned up a generous serving of one plate steamed chicken momos! Perfectly made on the outside with a juicy chicken filling and a sauce that makes chilli real proud! These folks know food in and out
Perfect place to hang out with your kids family and loved ones. I always take my pet with me. Best in food and service. After decades I found a good restaurant in diphu Town.. they always take care of their customers hygiene.
