Cafe 1947 - Italian restaurant in Manali, Bashisht - Kullu, India

I came to this restaurant with my family after recommendation from friends. We all had an amazing time. Food was delicious and the staff so attentive and friendly. I just wanted to say thank you! It's not all the time people get praised, the quality of the service and food was excellent. This has been the best meal ever, the presentation was superb, cooked to perfection. Location is great with riverview and the view of the mountains from the table was so mesmerizing. We will definitely be coming here again soon Cafe 1947

It's an Amazon place to visit. Well Located scenery - wise. However there is usually a waiting during peak/ close to peak hours as they only have 3-4 riverside balcony tables. They are good with putting a table on the waiting list. Parking outside could be an issue as they don't have parking and you have to park road side and might not find a good spot. Hookah is also allowed in the patio in the open, which makes the whole place smell of hookah smoke and flavour which was not ideal but a personal preference. They also have a closed hall for this right next to the patio. Food is good quality and quantity.

This cafe is very popular in manali. The best part is the view. They have outdoor seating arrangement by the river with a view of mountains. But if you get to sit outside you will always find people making chaos by clicking pictures all the time. They food is amazing. They serve very good cocktails also. The vibe of the cafe is really nice.

Ordered wood fire Pizza , Pasta Afrado, Pizza Margarita, Italian Veg Platter. All the items were tasteless. Staff Behaviour is very rude.

It's an amazing cafe in old Manali. The cafe is known for its relaxed ambience, great food, and live music performances. This cozy cafe is located along the main road & easily accessible & has a good parking facility. There is indoor & outdoor seating (by the riverside) as well. If you're in Manali, it's worth checking out.

We sat in the outdoor area but there was a lot of smoke from the heating area. That's the only downside, else the view was amazing. The food was amazing too - we ordered a pizza, a few burgers, hot chocolate. The burger with multiple layers was amazing apparently. The burger with grilled chicken was not that great. The pizza was amazing. The hot chocolate was out of this world- this hot chocolate is what has got me hooked to hot chocolates now. Definitely a must visit for amazing food!

No doubt about the beautiful location and food. But the only big irritant is that if you are lucky enough to grab a table at the river side after a long wait people will annoy you to the hilt by standing over your head all the time to click their pictures right next to the river view. If you are sitting by the riverside table you won't be able to enjoy your meals or the ambience at all.

Ambience, coffee and service was good too but food not so much. Food was bland and quite expensive compared to its taste. We ordered bruschetta and their signature pasta, quantity was petite and food was not so great.
