Beautiful and historical church in the heart of Trichy. This church has just completed its bicentennial. Church service and its Sunday school is in English. If you are a visitor in trichy and need a place to worship then St John's Church is just the place. Regular Worship timings are Sundays 8am and 6:15pm.
The head Church of Trichy - Tanjore Diocese. One of the few Churches in Tiruchirappalli where the stream of sermon is in English. Can feel the calming effects that the Churches usually provide. The dominant character of the church is the poor acoustics that the church requires in mandate so you can hear your lullaby back again. Excellent choir and orchestra. Green campus. Can find the tombs of the ancestral people native to the church. Located near the central bus stand.
A church constructed during the colonial days, aesthetically pleasing but more importantly the Presbyter in charge is very warm and welcoming. The service is conducted in English. It's a protestant church belonging to the Church of South India.
