C.O. Mathew Foundation Park - Park in Kalpetta - Wayanad, India

It's a great place to explore and spend time with family and friends. The place is well maintained and has a good ambience. There is no entry fees but you are required to give any amount you wish as charity to enter. It's also great for photography as there are many structures and spots. There are also many small rides for children and also there is an icecream shop inside. Toilets are also available.

It is also known as Shade Herbal Park. The place is good. Not too big . It is a private park belonging to a trust.You dont have to pay anything as the entrance fee. But if you contribute something at the entrance you would be helping either "elderly widows, diseased people or students who struggle to pursue their studies due to lack of funds". The boards regarding "helping the needy" is written only in malayalam. Others please note the same.

Very good place for children. A park with plenty of gadgets and art work for entertainment. The elders coming with children are occupying swings and play tools meant for children. The vision of the management is laudable.

The place is good. Not too big but enough for children to enjoy. It is an only one private park in Kalpatta, and it's belonging to a trust. Good option for kids leisure in Kalpetta. A private park without an entrance fee is a good idea. Steps are slippery and dangerous in the rainy season.
