This place is as old as the history of Uttarakhand itself. Aedi Devta, the King who once ruled here in the mortal form now lives in the heart of its people in immortal form. This may be the only temple where people bestow bows and arrows instead of bells and money. It is considered that the King was fond of and pioneer in archery so is the tradition. The temple is situated between the mountain ranges. A river originates from somewhere near the temple. The best time to visit this place is during Navratri.
1. Its all about History, a beautiful trek and belief. A human being who after the mediation and good deeds became a deity and being worshipped till date in Kumaon Hills as Ari Devtaa. 2. Ari devtaa was a Genral of Kumaon Army and stopped Mughals entering the hilly region & finally compelling them to retreat. May all Your wishes be fulfilled.
To reach mountain we have to go through a road passing through a jungle and climb the mountain to reach the temple.
A really serene, divine and calm ambience which a temple space should provide to the people visiting it. The journey to the temple provides a good trekking experience and feel. Not for the people with weak knees and ankles
Like a adventure place and peaceful
Byandhura Mandir is too good but it need to walk very much... but when you reach there you feel so happy . At least 5hrs. need to catch the mandir. the scene is too good from there. If you travel in summer season so take good amount of water.
