By the Riverside - Resort hotel in Sethumadai, Pollachi - Coimbatore, India

We live in US for more than 25 years and visit Tamilnadu, India once in a year and this time we visited Pollachi/Coimbatore area. and planned to chose the clean staying place close to topslip and Anaimalai Tiger Sanctuary in Pollachi Area. This place was Really great and excellent. The ambience was wonderful with lot of cocount trees and tree shades surrounded by beautiful mountain. we were greated with tender cocount. We got great wonderful food both Vegeteration and Non Vegetarian. Lot of great variety of food. Taste was great. They had dedicated Chef preparing the food. Food was authenticate and homely but served like 5 star hotel style. Room was very clean with balcony view to Wonderful mountains. Room cleaning was very professional with high International standard. Room service is also good. All the staffs were very friendly, polite and helpful. we felt very comfortable through out stay. Great Resort place to stay close to Anamalai Tiger Sanctuary. Overall We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place to everyone for future stays. We would highly recommend this place .

By the riverside was a lovely stay :) And a big thanks for accompanying us throughout the trip and helping us to get to the right spot for the content we were looking to make. We had a great time. Looking forward to catching up again :)

Though Nice ambience and location --- following drawbacks needed to be addressed : 1) food could have been better with more variety and quality 2) fixed glass windows in mountain facing room - doesn't have curtain and hence we get bright sunlight early in the morning spoiling our sleep 3) bedsheet and bedspread - isn't maintained properly as it got stain and smells bad 4) intermediate room cleaning is not done 5) drinking water was not refilled 6) we didn't receive hot water in bathrooms on one of the days during our stay 7) Staff / manager - Dinesh - is very rude and has bad attitude 8) no activites are available

We stayed there for 2 days...the stay was awesome.. excellent ambience n food.. proper Chettinad cuisine..pool was clean n bigger compared to d usual private pools..Mr.Dinesh n Mr.Ranjith made d stay more beautiful..they made sure we were comfortable through out d stay.. would highly recommend this place .

Very worst place ,rooms were clean, there is free wifi too, though the staff was very Harsh,he was rude,he was so strict and he don't know how to maintain a soft tone to the guests,very poor for hospitality ,and the landmark given in G-maps for this hotel was wrong.food was not spicy enough,the food was somewhat OK... Only BSNL network works here.No public pool.

Amazing experience..

Chutney is separate rate for Vada. Also Vada is not tasty too. Not worth to price for Vada.
