The Missal outlet is situated in a nice locality which is calm and is in Khandala. The Missal tasted average nothing close to what one could get in Pune. I couldn't find anything wrong with the Missal but somehow it couldn't win my heart and made me want to go there again. They have this self-service mode which I hate at a Missal joint because every time you need a small bowl of onion/lemon (which are must for the Missal to amplify its taste) or an extra Pav/Pav Jodi, you have to go to the coupon counter, pay for the extras you need and then go to the food counter to actually get it. The Farsan in the missal, by that time gets all soggy and the Missal loses its charm. So far all the renowned Missal joints I have visited have disappointed me except for a few. This opinion is very subjective and may differ from person to person. As I had said, the Missal is not a total waste of money. We had one Plain Missal and one Vada Missal and one thing I would like to point out is that Vada had Pudina and that left a very awkward and unwanted fragrance in the Missal. I hate Pudina in Vada Pav as it is something I don't like personally. Also, the tea was okay and there was nothing special about it too.
Not sure what the hype is all about. The paav was ordinary, the misal was also ordinary and in fact over-spicy, the kanda bhaji was ordinary - some bhajjis were not even cooked properly while some were over-cooked, the tea was ordinary. But it draws the crowds; i wonder if anyone ever returns for a 2nd time.
Really awesome misal pav, must have breakfast when you travel to lonavala. Onion bhaji and potato vada is also very very nice. I also loved the tea.
Buvanchi misal quality got degraded. Misal is ok ok. You get the option to have jain misal and hence the crowd. Tea is really very good.
Its a famous place for misal pav in lonavala. We did a morning bike ride from Mumbai to lonavala to have this breakfast and it didn't disappoint us.. Misal was yum and we tried cheese and butter misal both were good. Onion bhaji was really good. Also do try Shengon chi kachori, it was really tasty..
Misal and kanda bhaji are the good options to have here. Taste wise these are good, not that great. Why one enjoys these items here is because of the environment in Lonavala. It feels awesome to have something hot and spicy in such Lonavala surroundings. There is a self service concept here.
Misal pav is not good... They serve only farsaan in misal, No sprouts at all. They just put tari on farsaan. We also had solkadhi which was ok. Kandabhaji was tasty, served along with thecha. Atmosphere here is good. **They ask for cash only. No UPI or card. Man at the counter is rude.
So beautiful yet so simple. This place serves the best Maharashtrian food in Lonawala. A beautiful place is like the gateway Jannat to put in poetic terms. The food simple titillates your taste buds and the filtered coffee puts even the best branded coffee on the market to shame. This place has grown through the years it's charm is it's simplicity, it's magic is it's foid and drink. All home made food served by friendly earnest people.

A trip to Lonavla doesn't sound very exciting but if it's after an intense lockdown period, it sure would be. We booked a 3 BHK bungalow "Cape Town" in Gold Valley - placed at a convenient 2 km from the market. The owner, Mrs Zeba was very accommodat

Excellent 2 days stay on our anniversary. Got upgraded to a junior suite thanks to Swapnali. Breakfast buffet elaborate & tasty. Tejas served us well both days. Don't miss the Indian style tea from the cart outside the restaurant. Gluten free options
It was a great experience there The statues were very well maintained and they provided posters for each statue to give us more information about the personality. Overall It is a must visit place if you are planning a trip for Lonavla
Tasty yummy homemade food. Today we visited this place for the second time, and we ordered chicken and veg thali. Both were delicious. I loved the coconut chutney they serve, its so yummy that i enjoy it with the roti. This place is very neat and cle
