Butterfly Multispeciality Hospital - Hospital in Karaikudi - Sivaganga, India

The hospital was a mi's of pros and Cons. The review is based on my 3 times visit for my baby as outpatient. Pros: 1. The doctor is very friendly and very talented. 2. All queries will be answered by the doctor. 3. Inside waiting rooms are spacious and is air conditioned which is comfortable for the baby. Cons: 1. The room which they call as "feeding room" is very dirty and Unhygienic filled with dust. Also the same room is used for nebulising, injections as well so that it is often unavailable. 2. Injections are given to the baby on the above mentioned room in a bed which I won't dare to touch. Since it is for babies, the bit more hygienic conditions would be appreciated. 3. The reception admission system is non digitised, which leads to too much confusion and waiting time. 4. After seeing the doctor it takes another 20 mins to get the prescription, the system is not streamlined to provide prescription and injection. 5. Maybe the outpatient nurse are understaffed and that makes it hard for them to administer injections and get the prescription right after seeing the doctor. I might have explained the cons too long just to get it to the hospital's notice. But the pros outweigh the cons as the doctor is very good at treating.

I would give 0 if there is option, dr evening visit time is 6 to 8:30pm. DR Aswin wasn't there till 7pm. I understand 5 to10 lateness. But missing in action for 1 hr and 30 mins. Pls check with nurses if the Dr in and then make registration. And pharmacy dont have medicine that writen by the Dr. Reply to Dr comments, that means we have seen a ghost.

Doctor Chandramohan is good. But nurses and pharmacy staffs are not experienced. They give additional medicines (unprescribed without informing parents) along with the medicines prescribed by the doctors and tell you can return it if required. This has happened 2 times in my experience. Highly unprofessional staffs and consider to be very irresponsible as it's a children hospital. Nurses and Pharmacists are very unprofessional and rude if we escalate the mistake done by them.

We know Dr.Karthikeyan from 2014 onwards, he has been our family doctor since 2014. We have seen his medical intelligence on many occasions, while we all know handling infant and kids are always challenging job. His way of approaching the I'll infant is always satisfying. Usually we get some sort of relief, when we meet him. My join family have 5 children. He just take over our worries about children. Although during this 8 years, his is providing excellent medical treatment with his good enough hospital facilities. Thank you Dr for being with us.

A very good child hospital in Karaikudi, I visited for my 5yr old son.. Dr Karthikeyan was very kind and interactive. Doesn't pull in unnecessary testes / medicines, just gives what's exactly needed for the hour

We are visiting this hospital and doctor for last six years for my both kids and we were always taken care nicely as needed. Since this hospital has been converted into multi speciality one Doctor seems to be little stressed out and not that friendly as he used to be. But he was never rude to us as some reviewers mentioned here. He was always interactive, listens us and answers our doubts clearly. This stress happens to all of us when our work pressure goes high. If he focuses only on pediatrics then I think we will get our friendly doctor back. Doctor this is just my opinion, kindly excuse me if I'm not right. Thanks.

Very Pathetic behaviour from the doctor. While opening the Hospital, he had patience and good behaviour. Now he behave like a rude person. He speaks without politeness and use rude words to the patients. While we call the hospital, the reception sister tells the doctor arrival time say evening 6.00 clock. But he comes only after 7.30 and asks simply sorry. But he tells the patient that dont waste my time. Very pathetic fellow. While getting famous, he lost his behaviour.

We have been consulting with Dr.Karthikeyan since 2018..In the beginning times he was very polite and listening carefully about the problems. In recent time his behavior was very rude and impolite and not listening properly.So I decided to consult with another child specialist in Karaikudi.
