There is no butterfly in the butterfly bridge. There was ...but now it's open. It is a four way crossing foot overbridge at Deorali Syari Tibetology Junction. The view from the ropeway over the big butterfly was mesmerizing. It had to be dismantled due to several social issues. Now is history until next
Simple and beautiful. Seems got the inspiration from Asian Countries - very peaceful and we can really hang around with our friends for hour of hours -watching people downside walking. And yeah walking in this butterfly bridge is free of cost!

It's a decorated fly over at Deorali bazar Gangtok. There are few shops on the fly over. One can have a cup of tea/coffee with some fast food there. View from the fly over is mind blowing.
Point for de-boarding ropeway at Deorali. Service from MG Marg to Deorali ( Ropeway Service ) at Rs 100 per person. Best way for sightseeing whole of Gangtok . One must ride once atleast.

Brand new set up that is very clean.. efficient, capable & friendly technicians and nursing staff. It's wonderful to have a facility like this in Gangtok. Highly recommended!
