Visited last night, The so called famous Biryani again led down lol. The Biryani was just okayish and good for one try. Then we ordered a cake (they were calling it choco lava lol) and another layered cupcake. The so called choco lava had no chocolate leave the lava far away to be called, it tasted just like a Brownie and that too it was many days old. Idk what the baker was trying to accomplish. Anyways, the experience was okayish. Not gonna try again.

Great chicken 65 and the black pepper chicken with chapati was gorgeous. Good service and reasonable prices.

Had to catch a train from chennai central station and wanted to have taste of chennai style biriyani before leaving the city. That google search ended in Buhari, a special place for non veg food in Chennai. I had a chicken biriyani. For me, who spend a lot of my time in Hyderabad felt it was like a pulao but i loved the flavour that was provided from it. Definitely loved the chenai biriyani. I also packed a parcel of parotta and chicken 65 for my train journal and food was brilliant. For those who dont know, Buhari hotel is the origin for the chicken 65 dish. There were several stories on the net around the how or why the dish was made. Even though i could not have the hot version of the chicken 65 as i packed it for my dinner, the dish was amazing even when had at normal temperature. Will be define back to Buhari next time i am in chennai to check out their other options

Good food and great value for your Money. The food was served hot and well presented. The service of the staff was friendly. The food is very tasty and deserves a try. The restaurant is located in a prime location. Great job team Buhari and will be back to explore more.

The food, service and the ambience was good. But the prices are in the expensive side. The taste was good and the quantity for the food they were giving is worth for the price it seems. If you are a normal eater. You can buy 2 briyani for 3 people.

Not spicy but delicious biriyani. Nice cooperation

Have been to Buhari years before but it was a Great disappointment. Most of the items are not available and for whatever items we have ordered the quantity and quality is not good at all. Ex. Ordered mutton Biriyani , but it wasn't biriyani at all . Prawn 65, more masala and very little prawn . No proper coordination while serving as well. Finally washing hands ith mouth wash in salty water spoiled the entire thing.
