Bili Ranga Temple Reserve is nearer to Kollegal..Chamrajnagar and a day get away from Bangalore. Restricted time for entry. Bilim Ranganatha Swamy Temple is located on the Top. K Gudi wildness campus is available for stay but pre booking is a must. Jeep safari is available @ Rs. 450 per head for 1.15 hours. The road to BR Temple itself is like wildlife safari we were Blessed with Sighting of Elephant.. Bison..Deer... Wildlife Boar. But in Paid Jeep safari we sighted nothing. Temple is till 2pm in Noon and evening 4 to 6.. Annathanam is available. Rooms are available on prebooking. Nearby places include sivanasamudra..Barachukki Falls.. Gaganachukki Falls... Ancient Stone Bridge... Kaveri River Boating...Talakadu Temple.. Kaveri River Beach...T. Narasipura Shri Kunja Narasimha Swamy Temple..Somnathpura a UNESCO sight too. For Non veg lovers BANNUR Mutton Dishes are mouth watering...

Wonderful thick forest with terrain land. Spotting of wild cats and other animals is quite rare as bushes are very thick and won't be visible if there are some animals behind it too. You can see elephants, tusker more. They have jeep safari here. The ride inside the jungle itself soo much adventurous and totally worth for the nature lovers. It's scenic and you will get fresh oxygen.

It was a wonderful place to visit on the weekend and I loved every part of the reserve area. It is clean and if anyone is visiting this place please keep it clean as well and don't pollute it.

One of the nicest suspenseful drive inside the forest v went at 6 am v saw various birds monkeys and deer all naturally in the forest..very valuable for kids and adults, rich experience...

Calm and scerene place to enjoy your weekend into the wild. You can easily spot sambar deer, spotted deer ,jungle foul, elephant. It takes around 4 hrs from Bangalore city via nice road. You and stay also there is many jungle resort but pre book because there is no local stay here. Also ATM is also not available within 5O km range.
