Brothers Guest House - Hotel in Gangtok - East District, India

Rooms are good, clean and location is best with taxi stand beside. But no service was provided like food ordering system or luggage carrying.

Superb location with spacious room, I booked this hotel may 28th and 31st, staff behaviour was very good.

Recommend! super Deluxe room is nice and big with one double sized bed and one single side bed. The guest house is located right on mg, but there are few stair cases one has to climb. They also provide a simple basic breakfast with extra charge if notified prior. Bathroom is clean with geyser, there is a fridge as well. TV is also there with Tata sky, however there were no news channels. Overall, great budget option

Location is close to MG market road and on the lower taxi stand. Entrance isn't great, but inside hotel cleanliness, staff and room sizes are superb. They have fewer rooms only and well maintained hotel with kettle to heat water, fridge and tv.. market road view from the windows. Only thing is hotel doesn't has its own resto, but as it's on the market road..so, lot of options for food is available. Considering the price point it's a value for money stay. Staff is very courteous and overall recommended to stay with family and friends.

Booked a non-view Delux Room through goIbibo. While booking the promised room carpet area was 224 sqf. But received a much smaller room with hardly 150 sqf area (Room no 102). Though the bed structure was upto mark, the actual matress on the bed was quite small, certainly not 'queen size'. The matress had some issues with mites as they stimulated allergic reactions for one of us. However the hotel Service was upto mark, had no issues with either drinking water or otherwise. Food is not available here. However tea and bread is available for early brekfast. The location is right next to M.G.Marg though. With an adjoining taxi stand. For booking local sightseeing and other transportation, contact the local drivers before asking the hotel staff. Else you might end up paying extra.

A very nice and budget friendly hotel. It is situated right on MG Road Mall Road. Opposite to HDFC Bank Branch and on top of the famous 'Roll House' of MG road market. All the major banks ATM and other shops are within 1 min walking distance. We stayed in room 301 with front view of MG Marg. The rooms are huge with large beds , sofas, cupboards and a mini fridge. The television has Tata Sky with HD channels. One of the major benefits is 24 hours hot running water. The bedsheets and towels are clean along with complimentary mineral water. The room service is very efficient and responsive. The food availability is limited as there is no in-house restaurant. But all major eateries are within 2 minutes walking distance. Taxi Stand in right in Front of the hotel entrance. The entrance of the hotel is small and narrow, not quite impressive but my opinion changed the moment I checked the rooms. Only one drawback is the the WIFI reception is not there in room 301 and only limited to reception area which can be fixed with a range extender. Hence rating it as 4.8 out of 5.

Very good location, adjacent to taxi stand. Staffs are polite and soft spoken. Very clean and well decorated rooms with sufficient space. Cable TV, Electric kettle available in all rooms and refrigerator is also available in 4 bed rooms. M.G. Marg is behind the guest house. I stayed here with my family and friends with 10 persons for 3 nights. Very good experience.

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic. Location is right on MG Marg, entire MG marg is viewable from the window (premium rooms I guess, not all). Staff behaviour is fantastic, cleanliness of rooms is top notch. They have a travel agency, we have used their services for Sikkim tour and they also have impressed with their services. I will stay here again if I come back again and I definitely will recommend this hotel to others.
