I got very good response from ukvi for my wife's visa processing. I hope so too
Sir /madam...i just applied for uk visit visa with my family for my cousins wedding...i have been to uk when I was 20 years old...if i wanted to stay back..i could have ....i don't understand why you guys waste our time and money...you kept our passports for 15 days and sent it back without any explanation..i wasted 40000 rs plus my time to see empty pages ...VFS and you guys are wasting our time and money....i don't know why I even bother to write this because it's of no use ....you guys have no respect for people's time and money and emergency.......it looks like you guys get fun in doing such things.....keep it up....hope you understand not everyone wants to settle in UK.
I have been a frequent traveler and I got my VISA in 5 working days (Tourism). For people applying I would request them to provide complete details of their itinerary and stick to that, starting right from Flight Tickets, Hotel Bookings, Health Insurance, Proof of Sufficient Fund, employment documents & all means justifying that you are genuinely travelling for tourism & have enough ties with your home country. Please apply a minimum of 3 working weeks ahead. It becomes easier for the Embassy to grant you VISA once everything mentioned in the checklist (The UK and Schengen checklist is mostly same) is in order.
I have been trying to get contact all morning with commission. My husband had a stroke last week while we were on holiday from uk. We're being discharged today and have a hotel room at the minute to go to. We have one agent in India trying to help. If we have to wait for flights and flights cease, can we be repatriated. Obviously we are vulnerable. Feel the Embassy is a complete waste of time and effort.
Got refused twice on my short term student visa. Reason being " we think you not return back to INDIA and stay over the visa " well I hve been a student before and if I didn't had my exams in the UK trust me I wouldn't even apply for a visa to the British country. If someone actually reads the review please try help students be helpful instead of guessing a motive of staying when we have no interest in staying in the UK. Investing money in standard visa about 8k and then priority visa about 25k and then getting a reply from entry officer by rejecting and saying "I didn't find appropriate in interviewing you" is kinda stupid.
Heritage building.More than 100 years old. The High Commissioner Office Staff are gracious and are excellent hosts. Just few thoughts... I went there for a business meet, invited by them. As part of MSME industry interaction. The first impression at the gate was not good. The invitees cars were NOT allowed to enter their pearly gates. The sentry tells you to go and figure out a parking in the crowded road outside. I digest that , find a parking place and go inside. I am told now about the 'business formal dress' required for the meeting. I was thinking - " I am in Chennai ...I am an MSME...I drive a long distance for this meeting in my country ...and do I have to wear business formal now to get a seat in this table? ". I remembered an old photograph of Mahatma Gandhi wearing his humble Indian peasant dress and holding discussions with the British. I am not expecting British to change their mind set. I am keen that we Indians should change ours. 75 years of independence. Azadi ka mahautsov.Long live the Queen.
Worst visa process and high lvl attitude. You guys think British ppl will be the rulere.? No proper response or no uniformity process. You guys take money for Mail around 500+ and to talk every min 90rs and Still have an attitude ans. Worst worst embassy I ever saw. Just look USA process that's called uniformity and good communication
horrible service at the visa department.. I'm from Sri Lanka. To start off they sent my processed four visa applications of me and three kids through VFS Global, , Colombo at two different times showing the poor inter coordination of service. Then to open and see my son's UK entry clearance has been stamped on his expired passport instead of the new one. When sought advice to rectify that they said they don't undertake any corrections!!!! Extremely unprofessional poor service!!!

A small and cozy shop but surprisingly almost all common products are available from Jockey. Jockey products need no quality review at this time, they are good. The staff in the store are knowledgeable to offer right products based on the needs. M
