Bread & Chocolate - Cafe in Kuilapalayam, Bommayapalayam - Villupuram, India

I visited this cafe recently and was impressed by several aspects. Firstly, the food was excellent, offering a variety of delicious tastes. The cafe also had ample parking, which made my visit convenient. The space was neat and clean, creating a pleasant dining environment. I particularly appreciated the healthy, high-protein English breakfast options, which made for a satisfying and nutritious meal. Overall, a great place for good food, variety, and a pleasant dining experience with convenient parking.

One word - Outstanding ! Absolutely loved our brunch meal after Auroville visit here at Bread & Chocolate. The servers were kind and served us with a smile. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating. Outdoor is a little more peaceful I feel, as it is spread out. We loved the Mango smoothie - Chilled, smooth and so fulfilling. The cold Chocolate was amazing as well - dark chocolate shake with cocoa sweet nibs. Their Chocolate bonbon cake was heavenly ! The mushroom sandwich was heavily stuffed with mushroom as well as cheese - Grilled cheese kind. I would recommend this place to everyone to at least try their smoothie and smoothie bowls.

Personally i felt this place is a little overrated. It's a small beautiful place near auroville, we were welcomed by a cute dog though I didn't feel the staff were welcoming, maybe they had their reason for the day. We had iced cold coffee and green and fresh for drinks which were okay. We also had Summer time tartine which is their signature dish and it was also okay. The price is on the higher side for some bread and egg sandwiches, they could have done better. No options in non-veg, strictly eggs and veg.

The food was great. We ordered a sandwich and a tomato pesto quiche along with ginger ale. Very tasty food. But even at 9 am, the place was super crowded. I'd suggest to go in multiples, one person tries to get a table while another person stands in queue to order. Would recommend going through the menu earlier so you can order fast. The food was very filling and reasonably priced at 580 for two persons. Ambience is just okay.

The place was decent with only the pizza, 2 quiches and couple of croissants on display. We did a takeaway. Their croissant looked flat as against what you would imagine once you see a croissant. The taste however was good. Do give it a try. The pizza a.k.a focaccia bread topped with pizza sauce. It was quite good. Perfect looking focaccia. Make sure to ask them to cut it into pieces before packing it for you. The chocolate cookie was so perfect! Nice gooey chocolate at every bite. Totally worth it!

Sour dough bread and cheese heaven. On an expensive side, but worth the money. Drove from Chennai to this place based on the reviews and was not disappointed with the place. Croissant is a must try and also order anything with sour dough breads, you won't be disappointed. Filling quantity, awesome taste and a good ambience too.

Their green sandwich is a must try thing, the sauce in that was very good. Fresh fruit juice, croissant, fruit bowl everything was very good. We also had mustard sandwich there mustard was on very higher level so if you are mustard lover you will like it.
