Brahmani Mata Mandir, Sorsan - Hindu temple in Bhojya Kheri - Baran, India

Brahmani Mataji Temple is located 20 km from Baran in the Sorsan Village. The temple is situated inside an ancient old fort, and the statue of the Hindu Goddess Brahmani Mata is placed in a cave under a big rock. There is an Akhand Jyoti in the temple which is believed to be burning since the last 400 years. A big fair is organised here every year on the occasion of Shivaratri. Animals are traded in large numbers during this festival. And sorsan sanctuary is amazing

This is the only temple in the world where we worship the goddess's back (Peeth). That is why you will see people worshipping behind the temple structure. Very peaceful and beautiful temple. The surroundings are very serene with rocky mountain and small lake. The approach road from the highway is breathtaking. The good part of the temple is that it is not too crowded and you can worship in peace. There are small tunnels (Gufa) inside the temple where people go and worship too.

Brahmini Mata Temple is a beautiful temple in between green nature and wildlife . The idol of Brahmini mata is inside a cave . Photoshoot is not allowed inside the temple . There are many tea and prasad shops outside.
