Brahmagiri Mountain - Historical landmark in Metghar Killa - Nashik, India

My recent visit to Brahmagiri Mountain was awe-inspiring, especially during the monsoon. The trekking experience was truly remarkable, as the lush greenery and the cascading waterfalls added an enchanting touch. The journey was both challenging and rewarding, offering breathtaking vistas as a reward for the effort. If you're a nature enthusiast and enjoy trekking, the monsoon season definitely enhances the allure of Brahmagiri Mountain.

Climbed here on a rainy day with large number of people, mostly elders, coming to visit Godavari maa temple on account of sankasti chaturthi. The initial phase of climb starts after sanskruti MTDC resort, is completely through stairs, as per available information total 750steps with first 500 being gradual ascent and the last 250 steps are big ones with steep gradient and railing support, you will get to witness amazing panoramic birds eyeview of Trimbakeshwar, series of Waterfalls and also will pass by a waterfall. The first phase of climb completes with crossing of 250 steep gradient steps, second phase is a decent trek which will take you to mountain top from where straight route to right will lead you to top most and end point of mountain while descending left onto backside of mountain will lead you to Godavari maa origin temple, please do carry water bottles to fill up at this temple, it's clean and tastes good. The second temple shiv jhata mandir is around 600m from here on the right, almost on same plane. The time required to reach both temples is 2-3 hours, it will take around 5-6hours for complete trip including halts and spending some time at top

Amazing view from above. Now if you want to see fog at the top then make sure you go early morning. We went around 12:30 so there wasn't any fog. Now this is not a trek, everything is laid out in steps you will just be climbing them. Some of the steps are big as you go at the top but there are railing to hold while climbing. Bring something to eat. At the top there are 2 temples. And some photogenic views of trimbakeshwar.

I have a wonderful trekking experience. The mountain is lush green and water everywhere in monsoon. Which gives a beautiful view while trekking. The starting point is 1 km walkable from Triambakeshwar Temple. Entry fee is 30/- per person. 80% of the climb is covered with steps. It takes approximately 5 hours to go up and down climbing.

one of the best trekking experiences. Be careful with monkeys they are very smart. Don't carry anything with your open pockets. They search all open pockets & zippers. If you carry any food or mobile make sure to carry them in a bag & bag is well locked. They can open your bag or pocket & take whatever you carry. they are not harmful.

This place is good for trecking and various temples to visit. This place is the hill of lord Brahma, and is known as the abode of Lord Shiva. This trek is in between easy to moderate. If you visit after a 8 AM you want to buy tickets per person 30 Rs. Avoid to visit this hills in weekend there is too much crowd.

Must experience place in maharashtra Easy trekking . There is more than 2000 steps and we can reach easly to the top we must need much stamina and the top view and wind is mindblowing . You should definitely experience this while you are traveling to hariharfort or Nasik . The experience is seam . If Umyou reach the base before 9.00 free entry after 9.00 30Rs entry-fee charged . But its verte for that price range . This is just a km far from trimbakeswar temple . The place is believes as the origin of godhavri rever.

What a lovely place to visit and explore the culture of Shivshankar and parvatiji there and what a hard trek it is literally felt this can't be done in one go but when going gets tough tough gets going and we did it and finally enjoyed alot there best time to go there is rainy season I mean you will love it in rainy season believe me this is the best time.
