Temple is very calm and peaceful. This is a unique temple and one and only temple of Brahma in the world so people from around the country and world visit here. Closed from 1-3pm. Busy during the festival days. Waiting time 10 - 20 mins based on crowd. Steps and no wheelchair access. Inside the temple there is scripted stones mentioning names of donated members. There is a traditional way of sticking a red bindi on the temple wall and tieing a rakhi like thread on gates for many unsaid reasons. However the security guards deny such beleif and don't allow you. It is located right in the middle of the market. There is a ground located nearby where pashu mela is conducted during October and November. This year till 27th November there will be events happening. Worth a visit once you are in Ajmer, do not miss. It is accessible to reach via bus from Ajmer bus stand. Buses are crowded and take 1 hr to reach. There are several small temples nearby to visit after completing this one. Good place for women shoppers.
Nice place with lot many temples . Savitri temple you can go by cable car or by trekking also. In Pushkar you can enjoy camel safari also, though they don't show you much but can be a little change. We were lucky that famous cattle fair of Pushkar had started, lot of horses, camel were being brought for sale purchase.
A very special temple with devoted worshipers. More you pay the longer you can pray. Beautiful inside where you can't take pictures and many places outside to buy stuff.
Supposed to be a very important pilgrimage centre for the Hindus. But the spirituality is spoilt by the local guides who persuade and emotionally blackmail you to make donations. The place has a rich history and is worth the visit. But just close your ears and walk straight to the lake and then to the temple. You definitely don't need a guide. They will say it is free of cost and then slowly start nagging you to perform some rituals and make donations.
The Brahma Temple, the world's only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma, exudes pure and positive vibes. The temple's tranquil atmosphere and captivating deity are truly captivating. A must-visit in Pushkar for a spiritually enriching experience.
Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting the Brahma Temple in Pushkar, and the experience was nothing short of enchanting. Nestled in the quaint town of Pushkar, this temple dedicated to Lord Brahma is a serene oasis of spirituality. The architectural marvel of the temple is awe-inspiring, showcasing a blend of ancient design and intricate carvings. The moment I stepped onto the temple grounds, a sense of tranquility enveloped me. The sanctum sanctorum, adorned with vibrant colors and intricate motifs, resonates with a divine energy that is both palpable and peaceful. What sets the Brahma Temple apart is not just its architectural magnificence but also its historical significance. As one of the very few temples dedicated to Lord Brahma, it holds a unique place in Hindu mythology and pilgrimage. The spiritual ambiance is heightened by the rhythmic chants and the fragrance of incense lingering in the air. The temple's location is another highlight. Situated on the banks of the sacred Pushkar Lake, the setting is picturesque. The sight of pilgrims taking ritualistic dips in the holy lake and the panoramic view of the surrounding hills add to the overall spiritual experience. During my visit, I found the temple premises to be well-maintained, and the priests were welcoming, providing insights into the temple's history and rituals. The aura of devotion was further heightened by the resonating sound of bells and the echoes of prayers. In conclusion, the Brahma Temple in Pushkar is a gem that captivates not only with its architectural grandeur but also with the spiritual resonance that permeates its sacred spaces. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking a harmonious blend of history, culture, and divine energy. My visit left an indelible mark on my spiritual journey, making it an experience I will cherish for a lifetime.
Only temple of Lord Brahma on this land so this is a special place with no doubt. Beautiful and serene with the pushkar lake beside. Very divine and positive place. However, believe me the temple administration or the concerned authorities should note that the cleanliness, proper queue system and a thorough following of set regulations happen at this divine place. Devotees travel from far and wide to reach here only to find themselves being pushed and pulled in the crowd after opening of doors for darshan. There were people clicking pictures, carrying heavy luggage etc inside the temple. The policeman stationed there objected o about bags only to those who were dressed differently from the local people!! The announcement done by some temple person was mostly Abudive towards a few devotees that too in the Mike!! The serene atmosphere was disturbed by unrelenting croud who didn't want to wait for their turn. It's sad that such divine places are not bring looked into to improve tourist experiences!!
Peaceful place No need of giving too much amount to Pandits and Donation Boxes/Office . Just everyone is there to force you to pay as much as you can.
