I stayed at boros for 4 days and it was worth it.. will all the amenities and a welcoming staff services.. the view from the hotel is just so mesmerising and serene. Had a very peaceful and calm stay at the resort. The food here was good and apt. Felt like home while having food. Even khichri we had was really good.. spring rolls and French fries were the highlight.. the welcome drinks served are fresh out of the flower buransh. The staff was very polite and helpful. Did help us wherever and however it was possible.. For recreational activities one can visit zero point ( a small hike for a view of the ice caps), kasar devi temple (known for its geomagnetic field and cafes) cafes at kasar are really good.. good food good view kinda cafes, view points are great.. one can view almost the full ballet of almost a and Binsar, Almora is in midway for shopping. A must try is the famous bal mithai..
The staff were rude, the chef was nice but didn't know how to cook. The manager tried to con us by limiting snacks which we had fixed for a price. No welcome drinks, no drinking water in the rooms, no hot water in bathrooms and no landline to connect to reception, wifi has 20kbps speed which sucked badly. The location was nice but the entire experience was ruined due to the management. Overall a big NO.
We stumbled upon this place completely by luck. We found the name via google but the phone wasn't working. But we thought we will anyways check. And when we saw the rooms we were spellbound and we met Mahesh Negi the man in charge. He ensured the hospitality was amazing. Since it was off season, we were the only guests in the resort but they made sure nothing was amiss. To top it all, the food, was delectable and it made us stay another day at this heaven.
Our stay here was amazing. And the food is just mind blowing. Mahesh ji who takes care of the property is a sweetheart and very helpful. The rooms are also clean and very well made. Highly recommended. Especially the food.
It was really nice stay along with family where I found excellent hospitality in terms of staff cooperation, support, delicious food with excellent quality.... I would recommend this hotel to stay best along with family....coz you feel like family feeling here due to approach.
