I had an incredible experience at Borail Eco Camp. Nestled amidst the hills, this camp offers a perfect blend of adventure and serenity. The accommodations were comfortable, and the eco-friendly practices they follow truly impressed me.The breathtaking mountain views left me speechless. From sunrise to sunset, the changing colors of the sky against the majestic peaks created a mesmerizing spectacle. The hiking trails were well-maintained, allowing me to explore the surrounding nature at my own pace.
Borail Wildlife Sanctuary contains Borail Eco Camp - a recently started facility with tents and thatched-hut for night-stay as well as for day-outing. Pre-booking is definitely recommended as the place is gathering more attention. The Eco Camp team starting from booking to reaching the camp, minor paperwork, finally helping us with the facilities available were absolutely amazing. Food was sumptuous too... Rice, dal, fries, Fish and Chicken - everything was tasty. More so, the hospitality of the whole team made the experience even better.
This sanctuary is just for name sake not at all maintained properly for visit of tourist. This place could have been a tourist attraction. The main problem in Barak valley is that the infrastructure is very poor and the lack of attention of government towards prpoper maintenance of such sites. People here crave for places to visit in weekend but there are almost a few or no option. The road condition to this place is very pathetic and under construction from past several years.
Opening after a week me and my cousins just visited there. The heavenly view of roads,Borail pahad and tea garden is eye catchy.Atlst go once it's so beautiful.Well Barak valley never experienced such things.Camping tracking an all.
First of a kind in under udharbond area, the camp is good enough and it provides swimming, trekking, meals and also a nightstay with bon-fire. One must try the hanging bridge.
