The restaurant in Borail View Regency is divided in two parts (Veg/Non-Veg), with a separate Bar lounge upstairs. The quality of food was great as they served fresh meals! Price was on a higher point & that's considerable according to the service and hospitality they provide. Ambiance was good, but could find any place to click portraits and all overall it was a good experience and is a must visit if you want to go there with your family or loved ones!
A nice place in town for staying & food. The ambiance is good, the staff are cooperative.. The place has a restaurant and bar as well, both are at different floors. The view is good and the food is yummy.
Such a bad experience. Staff is too impolite and unprofessional. Naam bade aur darshan chhote is the ideal description of Borail view. I have been to different hotels all over the country. Never saw such poor hospitality ever in my life. The owner should take note. I suggest DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY in this place..period
Well appointed interiors. Nice dining experience. One small feedback: don't be surprised if patrons ask for tea or coffee at dinner. It is perfectly normal to have coffee or tea as a beverage at major meals, especially in some international cultures.
90 plates are ordered in a conference. 93 guest are present. Foods r there in trays. But Borail View manager refused to give plate . Local organising committee requested to give plate as foods r there for 3 more people. But hotel management refused to give extra 3 plates as in advance only 90 plates r ordered. Very unprofessional behaviour from manager We 3 people have to take dinner in Ramnagar dhaba. Management kindly look into this matter.
One of the staff doesn't behave well They are like very rude.. I ordered for veg paneer biryani but serve us fried brown rice I didn't like the food and the service
A new luxury hotel, restaurant at Silchar. The decor, ambience and location are good with many options for recreation starting from rooftop bar cum lounge, swimming pool by the side of garden, banquet hall for various occasions and of course the restaurant. Overall very attractive for trying out something new,but the staff behaviour is a certain backdrop. They do not respond well, they don't prioritise customers'wishes, rather remain adamant about whatever they adjust with. Food is good, but overpriced . Nothing special as otherwise expected. Sometimes the crowd in the bar isn't very comfortable as random people even during afternoon hours take on the stage and make it awkward for others to enjoy themselves.
They accord us great traditional welcome. Check in experience & welcome drink pleasant. Ushering in assistance superb. Mine was a 2 nights business trip. Got a road/park facing room. All in all good experience except few technical glitches. Most remarkable were shower mixer - only hot water comes in whatever direction/position you turn it. Could not be rectified despite complaining twice. Electric kettle auto cutoff malfunctions. Breakfast spread is very limited.

The best hotel to stay in Silchar. Although the colonial vibe of erstwhile Tea Estate Sahib's club is gone, but still has so much history. Fantastic service and adequate parking.
Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. We stayed almost 5 days in the hotel and loved it. The location is also very proper. The hotel staffs are very cooperative and friendly. Fooding also too good and hygiene. Would love to visit again.
