Borail offers an awesome retreat from the hustle & bustle of the city. It is very conveniently located about 45 mins scenic drive(awesome road!) from Silchar. The thick green canopy, crystal clear river, wildlife, bonfire, trekking, camping & many more such activities definitely offered me a much needed break from everything else. If you're looking to disconnect for a while & recharge yourself in nature, then look no further & head over to Borail. Ps: Do give them a buzz prior if you'd like to have food served on time as it's on made to order basis.
If you belong to Cachar or nearby places, if you're here for your study purpose and need a place to clear your mind, get in touch with nature and enjoy far from the city life, this is the place for you. The people, the place, the experience, everything was so amazing that I can visit anytime again. There are camps/huts where you can stay, and they'll surve tea in bamboo glasses How amazing is that? You'll get to experience fishing, bonfire, trekking (even though it was not long), swimming, there are arrangements for playing too ( like volleyball, badminton). Trust me, you'll love this place!!!!
Great place to chill. Or should I say only place in barak to offer a decent camping site. The locals are very helpful. May get a bit crowded during weekends.

Best place for adventurous and thrilling tracking also for children not dangerous , you also swim here they also provide jacket.This place is too beautiful .
