Its one of the best safaris to visit near Delhi, its full of cheetah's, deer, tiger, peacocks, sambar and many birds in this jungle here at thus time of the year in June-July specially... but these are dense forests ... a bit scary too A place not to be missed..entry fees us about 600 inr and one has to be careful in not getting trapped in money making scheme here One can get a trained descent guide for a reasonable rate

This place was ok. We hardly could see any animals. This place is not well developed. E.g. it would be good for the rangers to coordinate with walkie-talkie so that tourists can know the best place to see animals. We were surprised to find that the Government had no plans to uplift this place.

I feel like if I belongs to this place. Perfect place to enjoy nature and experience wildlife. So many rivers to cross, so many mountains to reach. Major animals found are Leopard, Deers, Elephants, Wild boars, Hyena, Jackals and many varieties of Birds. Many resorts available in Park for night stay.

We kinda got trapped in their money minting scheme. The park has been closed 15 June - 15 November owing to rains. They tricked us into taking the safari ride for 2300 rs. saying it'll take us through the jungle. We'll get to see waterfall and a temple. It's a big HOAX. It was no less than a desert area.period. Fhey take you to a village area. No animals on the way exceot for cows, dogs, peacocks, mountain lizards. Waste of money. Wish we could've seen the notice before.

Amazing place we got a jeep and a local tour guide to explain about Ragaji national Park I love the temple on top of the mountain if you go to the temple on top the mountain and you ask the people for a sari they will give it for free.

Beautiful place ... You can find a luxurious living in GMVN, CHILLA. Where you find gypsy service for jungle tour ... you can see elephents and tigers there .....!!!!!

Rajaji National Park is an Indian national park and tiger reserve that encompasses the Shivaliks, near the foothills of the Himalayas. It is spread over 820 km2 and includes three districts of Uttarakhand: Haridwar, Dehradun and Pauri Garhwal.

It was an awesome experience to visit Rajaji National Park after a span of about 30 years. The forest and wildlife has improved a lot. Such a wide variety of birds, herbivores and carnivores in the region that it was beyond imagination when Gujjars used to dwell inside this forest. Did night halt in Chila Forest Rest House, which is a heritage building of 1883,meaning thereby that its just 135 odd years old and beautifully maintained. Uttarakhand Forest Department has done really wonders in preserving the nature and area just at the doorstep of Holy City - Haridwar. It is a must visit place for a nature lover. This sanctuary is full of beautiness and surprises and it is no less in anything than jim corbett. It only needs one day of your trip and makes it a memorable one.This safari of urs will be full of satisfaction as guides here are very knowledgeable and could guess a type of bird by its voice only. You will definately spot lot of deers and peacock here but other animals spotting is completely dependent on ur luck and we got very lucky as we spotted herd of elephants with baby elephant of 1 or 2 days only out for drinking water and this is a very rare scene anyone could spot.
