Nice place... Close to nature not crowd, complete peace and silence.. Bring food if you visit this place. No restaurants and shops. KSRTC Buses are only allowed to enter this estate. Private vehicles needs special permission to enter. It's an abandoned place..

Its a great drive to the top and is really a beautiful place. Special permission is however required to cross the checkpost. The main attractions are the waterfalls. Apart from that a lot of plantations and of course,the 25G Haunted Bungalow. It is an eerie place and actually gives us a haunted vibe. It is an unlaid road and I would recommend using powerful vehicles like Thar to go there. Also remember to carry water bottles as it will be tiring. Furthermore there is two places where you can get refreshments there. A tea shop is one of them. Good vibes.

Good place and ambience but private vehicles are not allowed block in check post

The place is a really great choice for those who loves trekking. The haunted bungalow out there (though not really haunted), makes the journey worthy. We could go to the top both by our own means of transportation and also by the public transportation. Private vehicles must have the permission from the authorities to go up. So buses are the best and most cheapest choice. From the top most settlement, we'll have to walk uphill a bit to reach the bungalow. There's a ready road to go up. But if you need a shortcut and is really willing to trek, the forest path is the best...and it's the best place to feel the nature

Nice place to go if you love nature. And peaceful place In rainy seasons the forest guard eill restrict you to go there It's better to visit other times Many eye catchy places are there on the way. It's better to go on a bike than going by bus or car and mostly said that there are forest elephants roaming around. We can see ponmudi from here. It's foggy sometimes and nice photogenic place If you lover photography you will get nice pics And there are plenty of ways to show your creativity

One of the greatest trekking Agasthyarkoodam starts from Bonacurd and very greenest forest. From here 18km drive.

Not another soul in sight for miles. The difference between the noise and distraction of the city and the quiet of this place is like night and day. Absolutely no conveniences for visitors. For all you know you might die there and nobody will know. Still a great experience for those hardy enough to venture there.
