Bommayapalayam beach-Recent times developed. Maintanence is good.. Timing: 6am to 7pm Suitable for family and friends who want to take bath in beach.. but it will be somewhat deeper. Fish fry stalls will be good. Only thing is it will be not safe after 7pm. Especially don't miss the sunrise view point here which will be mesmerizing..
It is a little piece of paradise between pondicherry city and university. It's nice little quite beach to spend some quality time in the lap of Bay of Bengal. A place worth returning to!!!

Fantastic to catch the sun rise and sun set from here. The road to the beach is kind of pathetic and the approach to the beach is also very bad. There is a cremation site near by and as you cross it you can pray for the departed souls.. You can't enter the water as it's very unpredictable and we have the local police warning people repeatedly
