There are two shops within 100 metres, there is a new shop and other is under renovations. The products are very delicious, we had tried badam halwa , it was very nice. Must try. Parking can be an issue .
Lots of variety of sweets. And must visit during peak hours like evening when after a good window shop have a chat or good cold Badam milk. It's all about hype. The prices are so Overpriced but still people take because of its name. Initially badam milk have 50 but used to come in so huge glasses, now for 60 we get it almost in the size of normal small glasses. Other than that good place to choose sweets for any occasions.
The is a classic place for some of the best sweets in Mysore. They are old school and traditional and have maintained the quality and taste. They also chats and other snacks like kachori. Great value for money. The badam milk is a must try. Usually the chats are served after 4 PM
Only masala puri is good here. Rest are just ok.
If you are looking for quality Badam milk, go to the Sayyaji Rao outlet. This one heats the cold milk in a microwave or induction stove. The milk was so hot, it burnt my tongue. Taste was no good. Waste of 60 Rupees. Instead, the Sayyaji Rao outlet sells the best badam milk for 50 only.
Had Dhokla and badam milk. Dhokla tasted average and badam milk was quite good
Chats are ok A bit expensive but it's prepared in a health way
One of the oldest and only bombay tiffany .. I had found the uniqueness of its taste back in the day but now very rare like on Sundays sometimes I get that feeling however on weekdays I had bad experience with their sweets especially soan papdi which I got was a mixture of fresh and old stock single packets. So I had to discard the old ones since it was not free but sticky and shrunk. The chats have lost its flavours which I used to cherish back from 2006. I wish they bring back their true flavours and heritage of excellence in their food.
