Reword this for a snack shop google review One of my favorite stop in mount road and a place I visit always when I'm in and around Mount Road. Me and friends have been visiting this place since 2002. Have seen the changes this place has gone though and how they retained the taste and quality still. If you plan to visit, I suggest take a two wheeler or take an ride that stops on main road, so you walk inside the Ellis road. Don't make the mistake of driving a car or going in an auto inside the busy streets that lead to this small shop. One of the best lassi in Chennai!
Heaven for sweet lovers. I ordered jalebi , basanti, spl badham milk and carrot halwa. Too good jalebi and basanti . Neat and clean shop with a huge rush. Authentic taste and flavour. Satisfy your taste buds like anything. One time must try. Limited items only.
Owner is having a very bad and having too much attitude in his nature.... They don't accept UPI and card payment so make sure u have a cash in hand. Taste is okay but not according to the price they are charging. 18rs/ samosa , 20rs/50gm jalebi...
The lassi was thick and cool. It had a very refreshing taste. They had blended it well. The informal seating space is a very nice addition to the whole setting. Unknowingly it makes the place very accessible to all kinds of people. The pricing also complements that. If possible they should start it a bit early on weekends to attract more customers. We had come before time but they happily agreed to make lassi for us.
After all the hype on social media, I couldn't resist the temptation any longer and decided to visit Bombay Lassi in Mount Road. Undoubtedly, Bombay Lassi lives up to its reputation as one of the best chaat spots in Chennai, offering an array of mouthwatering delights that won't break the bank. For those seeking a delicious yet budget-friendly feast, this is your go-to place. The Kachoris stole the show, and rightly so! Bursting with flavors, these golden delights are a must-try for any chaat enthusiast. Paired with the mint and sweet sauce, topped with crunchy ompodi, each bite was an explosion of textures and taste that left me saying, "Oh my god!" But the surprises didn't end there. The Samosas were equally exceptional, boasting a crispy exterior that crumbled with every bite, revealing a delectably spiced filling that was simply yummy. And how could I forget their signature Lassi? Though a tad bit expensive, it was the perfect accompaniment to the fiery chaat dishes, offering a cooling respite to my taste buds. If you're a chaat lover on the lookout for an extraordinary culinary escapade, Bombay Lassi on Mount Road is a must-visit.
Hands down one of the best samosa & kachori. Limited menu but each and every items is worth it. Since I shifted far from triplicane, from the list of foods I miss around this area Bombay lassi is top of them. When ever I'm around I never miss stopping at this place and grab couple of hot samosas, you visit during any time of the day you will for sure served hot & fresh samosas. I have almost tried everything in menu and finally I stick with samosas and washing it down with chill lassi. Note- No upi payment, No dining option but there is a platform to sit opposite of the shop which they have recent renovated with new tyles. Parking could be difficult during weekend times. Weekdays it won't be a problem. Shop is very clean and hygienic and also they have maintained the opposite platform area clean considering mostly peoples will eat over there. I have attached the lastest menu.
We went for Devi theatre and this Lassi shop is back side of it. No seating space(Table Chair) available as such. Snacks are finger licking good. We had 3-Samosa, 1-Milk halwa, 1- Gulab jamun, 1- carrot halwa, 1-Mixture packet and 2- Lassi. It's cost around Rs300. I personally feel Lassi is quite costlier. They did not provide any bill. Plan a movie in Devi theatre and have a quick bite here.
Bombay lassi is famous for chaat items like samosa kachodi hot jalbi. They don't have a car parking only some bikes can stand.
