If you are looking for getting glimpse of Bollywood, shoot locations and some entertainment this is the right place to visit. You have to take their AC buses to avail the tour and park your vehicles outside entrance. Tour offers 2 packages only Filmcity tour(cost Rs.500/person for 1.30 hrs) and Filmcity +Bollywood park(rs.999/person for 3 hours). You can enjoy meal, snacks at Bollywood cafe as well. Has Portable washrooms at the park. In combo tour you get to attend Bollywood performances, Tech show to understand post production work, wax muesum and 7d ride. Overall good experience!!
Excellent place to be, price worthy. You also get a small refreshment to hydrate yourself and there's 2-3 shows for you alongside to get you going. 30mins break to chill and click a lot of pics.
Mumbai film City tour is very average.. not much to see other than a temple or courtroom and only outside of which set is where. Good thing is we could see a local shooting.. Also plus point for comfortable ac bus and a good guide.. Don't remember the ad of the guide but he was entertaining and that kept going.. Not recommend much for this tour.. but ok for a cost of 500 and if you just want a overall glimpse.. average to visit not too bad either...
Wow! What an excellent and exciting place. A Bollywood buffs should book a ticket of filmcity and atleast visit it once. Sometimes we can even watch live shooting where big superstars like SRK, Amit ji, Deepika, Aamir anyone can be spotted doing a scene, but only when you are quite lucky. Most of the time one can see serials and OTT shows shootings there. The post production area is a must watch. Absolutely delightful and it even enhances our knowledge and the hardwork which goes behind making a film entertaining and worth watching. Editing room, dubbing room and Foley's effects and wonderful.
Please don't expect to see any film star or any shooting. The tour is all about famous shooting locations and Bollywood parks with local artists performing dance music show.
Worst experience. Didn't hope for such trip in film city Mumbai. Wasted entire 1000Rs. Can't see any happening shooting or any celebrity. Seated in a bus and heard lecture only. Improve the trip for public else close
Bollywood tour Isn't worth the ticket price at all. Bollywood park is a part of Filmcity Tour and it has a lot of props for clicking photos. It's better to find some deals at the entry gate of Filmcity rather than pre booking it through BookMyShow etc. One can get a bus from Goregaon East to the Filmcity gate for the ticket price of 5 RS. And similarly to go back to Goregaon Railway Station buses are available throughout the day.
Shows in Bollywood park were awesome. The level of knowledge team shares there on video audio mixing take you to a different level of understanding. Vishal Bagal's performance was outstanding, greater than any concert outside.
