Just beside the river Ganga. Nice environment. There are several books in the shelf. You can read with food too. Small but good. On the way to Peary Mohan College.

The place itself is as interesting as the name. Boithek is always a favourite place of mine. Visit this place often for its food and ambience all the way to Uttarpara from College Street. The price is reasonable with absolutely delicious items. One can spend a lovely evening with friends or a small date with their partners, either sipping in some tea and coffee(both hot & cold) available or biting some lip smacking snacks! A must visit place. Situated right on the banks of ganges, makes this place even more special. The ambience is quite awesome and also the reception and the service is very good as well! A recommended place indeed!

This is a totally unexpected surprise for me. The look is not as promising but once I stepped in, the old school vibe took me over. The items they served are perfect to my palate. I was simply blown away by the quality and quantity of the food that I ordered. They were fresh juicy and tasty. The coffee was perfect in taste and flavor. I'll definitely go back for more.

This is a cozy cafe in the bank river Ganga. They provide good quality food at reasonable price. The behaviour of the staff is very soothing. However, I noticed that there are only limited number of staffs who are managing the entire thing very efficiently. I would recommend the following dishes: Spicy chicken balls Chicken pasta Jhal sharbat

Boithek is a beautiful cafe located in uttarpara. Very close to river . We Called beforehand and confirmed it's timings. Reached the cafe a bit early at 11.55 am we requested the staff to open the gates as it was raining heavily but was denied access as it was not 12 yet . We went to the riverbank that's just a minutes walk away and spent some time there We came back at around 12.10 and still stood out in rain ( and called the owner ) and after half an hour the staff finally let us in at 12.28am. There was a weird smell in the adjacent room where we were seated at first beacause the front room was being cleaned. The smell went out with some room freshner and air conditioning was on. The staff was very courteous after that and behaved well. We didnt had much time after that and had to cut our order short. Got a cappuccino and a corn cheese sandwich. Both was nice. The cappuccino was exceptionally cheap so asked and got to know it's a machine made cappuccino and they do use coffee beans but nevertheless it tasted good. The corn cheese sandwich was very tasty but the chips were soggy. Had to leave the chips . The ambience was nice and they really had loads of books in both the rooms. The decor was nice and picturesque. There was a washroom there but was for staff only I guess. There was a board saying so. We were late already didn't ask bout that. Overall nice. There are 3 to four very pretty gongar ghats nearby you can visit. Mesmerizing view. Added more pictures.

The cafe is lovely. We frequently come here whenever we want to go on a walk. The cafe is filled with history of Uttarpara and its surrounding places, and books, and you can also buy books here. The food is outstanding, and so is the atmosphere inside.

The cafe is awesome with a great atmosphere and good service. Everything is good, but the cafe did not allow men to use the toilet. From some points of view, all the cafe staff are women, and it seemed like there was a feminist attitude behind this decision, which I found disrespectful towards men. That's why I would rate it 2/10. In 2023, if you're not open-minded, you might not fully understand your customers' preferences. However, the service, food, and atmosphere are still great, earning a 4/5 rating. Keep an open mind and give this cafe a visit.

Best cafe in Uttarpara with delicious food. Food options are limited but all are good in taste. I like their Fish and Chips, Cold coffee with icecream and Iced tea.
