Niagara of Telangana - Well said!!!
Heard some quite great reviews about this place and happened to visit this place with family just around the end of July.
Firstly after entering the place you need u buy a ticket (common in most places) and you need to walk around a kilometre to get this place. The car ride to this place is awesome as you can see onion plantations on the sides of the road.
This place has some small huts on the way through which you can climb and view the waterfalls from a far distance.
This waterfalls is surreal. You get to view the entire stretch of the waterfalls and you can also visit the top end of the waterfalls from a nearby location. A must photography spot for photo lovers
Thumbs up for this place
Waterfalls: Mix of power and beauty.
I have visited this Waterfall with a few of my friends, it was an amazing experience.
The way the water flows, so free and easy and the waterfall is roaring like a jet. The views are amazing, you can spend some time capturing the waterfall from a safe distance.
There is a swimming area with a marked safety zone. You can get into the water and have some fun once you are done capturing the waterfalls.
One can spend some time relaxing or chatting with family/friends in the view point sitting area.
Note: There is nominal entry fee for the waterfall and we need to park the vehicle and reach the waterfall by walking around 5 min. Please carry your food/snacks/water as there are very limited options.
The standout feature of Bogatha Waterfall is its size - it's big, and it's undeniably awesome. As the water plummets from great heights, it creates a mesmerizing display of power and grace. The sheer force of the cascading water is a sight to behold, and the refreshing mist that envelopes the area adds to the overall experience.
One of the unique attractions near the waterfall is the small Laxmi Narasimha temple. It's a place of serenity and spirituality, where visitors can find a moment of peace amidst the thundering sound of the falls.
For those seeking relaxation, the pool area downstream from the waterfall offers a perfect spot to take a dip and cool off in the crystal-clear waters. It's a refreshing and rejuvenating experience, especially on a hot day.
The surrounding forest and natural attractions add to the allure of Bogatha. The lush greenery, coupled with the diverse flora and fauna, create an atmosphere of serenity and oneness with nature. It's a paradise for nature enthusiasts and photographers.
However, it's worth noting that the maintenance of the park and facilities leaves much to be desired. The lack of proper upkeep can detract from the overall experience. Similarly, the parking area is not well-maintained, which can be a minor inconvenience.
One downside to this otherwise pristine natural haven is the absence of good hotels and restaurants nearby. Visitors are advised to plan for their meals and accommodations in advance.
