Bodhi Stay Bodhgaya | best budget hotel | - Bed & breakfast in Bodh Gaya - Gaya, India

Place closed down. We had booked 3 months prior with the entire amount paid online as advance.but we're informed only a day before our arrival that they had given the entire hotel on lease to somebody and the previous manager was not even in the scene since he had flown to Nepal. The present managers we talked with knew nothing of the matter and couldn't process our refund. This was extreme bad handling of our case, especially since we were traveling with family.

I find this hotel to be best for couple as the the person who was handling reception was very polite and good behaviour. Prefered for couple. Everything is good here for couple. One things I would say there nothing in close for eating purpose.

The rooms were basic but clean, not sure about the sheets though. Ac took 1 night to achieve, hot water 2 nights, TV still waiting after 2 nights. Staff very apologetic, but things should work from the start and not need complaining.

Stayed there for one night in January. Opted for a double bedded AC room. Pros: 1. Budget friendly with basic amenities. 2. Peaceful locality with mustard fields around. Although it takes around 20 mins in auto from Mahabodhi temple. Cons.: 1. Restaurant was closed during our visit. 2. No lift.

Worst rooms with worst service and dirty location. You will feel like dhabas atleast line hotels have better rooms and service than this.

Great location...Big & clean room with affordable price.The owner & staff are very nice and friendly... I highly recommended

Pros: Great staff behaviour, Amazing rooms, free RO water facility, food delivery allowed Cons: location - no nearby market, mosquitoes sometimes

Location is near by all tourist places..and food places.. but hotel dont hv lifts/elevator but price is little high according to the facilities.
