Bochamari Eco Park - Ecological park in Bara Salbari - Coochbehar, India

Poorly managed Mini Zoo cum eco park. The Ghariyal breeding centre and the Leopard rescue centre are key to this wildlife centre. Moreover there are hundreds of deer in the large enclosure. Many seasonal migrant birds can be seen along with Indian species. The lake or 'bill' is fairly huge. The other enclosures are dilapidated and empty. This park is closed on Thursdays. They charge Rs 25 for adults and Rs 10 for students. The watchtower is now closed for maintenance.

It's actually a forest covered with so many fona. Trees, small mushrooms, different flowers, a little jhil and many more to feed your eyes. Then for it's beauty a zoo is made. Gharial, elephant, tiger, snake, different birds and more. So it's a worthy, worthy place to visit, to calm down your soul.

Wonderful experience. Wild animals roaming in open enclosures. Lots of variety of plants. Guards are there to help you. Marks and indicators are well placed to guide the tourists. Lots of greenery. In single word 'Excellent'. What I found interesting that migratory birds to watch. One must carry a pair of binoculars to enjoy it. Excellent place for kids. They will gather a lot experience. 'Gharial' is there in the ponds that is not available in any nature park in adjacent area. All the water bodies scattered there may offer you interesting creatures to see. One hanging bridge is there to entertain you. Lots of small fishes are playing under it. Different types of wild birds are kept in enclosure. Overall it's amazing.

It's a mini zoo. Have some animals. But maintenance is not at best.

Bochamari Eco Park is very nice. There are many animals in this park. The lake is very beautiful. At one time, many migratory birds came here. But now it is much less. There is boating system in this lake. There is tourists lodge inside and outside of the park. This park is very close to Kamakhyaguri. Tourists may visit this place by Auto or toto from here.
