The rides are good and they try their best to show us dolphins. I have seen dolphins every time (prolly more than 10times) I have taken this ride.
This is the place from where you can go for Dolphin watching And you can also see in below picture. It provides a combo of adventures - para sailing, jet ski, banana ride, scuba diving.. wonderful and pleasant experience . One must visit this place if you are Goa and a nature lover. A small boat trip which will taken you into the middle of sea and shown some beautiful Dolphins. It will be a 45 minutes trip just for Rs. 300 per person. Scenic water and few beautiful places will be shown by guide and definitely a joyful trip.
Nice place good experience in boat trip lovly enjoyment
Please don't fall for this trip! There is no island, you get on a tiny boat around 9 in the morning very compact one. Wherein while selling this trip told its gonna be a big 2 compartment boat. You'll be just in the boat for hours, they promised Dolphins show, fishing and many more. Nothing of such happened, they pass time in the water unnecessarily the stop in the middle of the ocean if you ask they give you silly reasons. Services which we got was snorkeling, few water rides which can happen at the beach too. I have wasted one whole day for this trip. My dad and other people got into the water for snorkeling, and when they returned everyone including my dad got rashes on their full body. Please carry a mineral water and moisture or any cream to be safe When you request them that you wish to leave drop us at the shore, they won't this was the more worst part. When the boat was stagnant and empty all the others left for the rides is when I requested them to leave my family at the shore but they denied. Well the actives which they promise won't happen, and the activities which they make you do would happen at the beach at a relatively cheaper prices + your whole days is gone with nothing!
This is the place from where you can go for Dolphin watching The boats are of various sizes and the rides are thrilling We went in month of May and could see many dolphins in this season. Good way to spend and hour in the sea. Carry sunglasses and caps to cover when going in afternoon.
The Boat rides are located near Aguada Fort. The price is 300 per person for a dolphin show. About 8-10 people are allowed on a single boat. For a Dolphin show the boat riders take a little deep in the ocean in sense they take a bit far from the shore. Dolphins are visible if the boat riders stay still for some time. The boat riders act like as if the dolphins are waiting for them to come & show them some trick. They do some the dumbest thing like they will take a little far from the shore where dolphins generally are spotted. The important thing while watching dolphins are to stay quiet & watch them enjoying, But those idiot people as soon as they see a dolphin in the they rush their boats towards the dolphins and scare them. There are about 6-7 boat nearby waiting for a dolphin to come to the surface & as soon as it comes to the surface they all start their boat engines & rush towards them, resulting in scaring them. This thing should be changed in my opinion as going towards dolphins will just scare them & will let them to not come to the surface more frequently. Overall we where lucky enough to see some dolphins.
We have booked our tour through tour and travels water sports we paid some advance amount for the booking and final amount we have paid during the boarding time. The whole trip was good for friends. Once the trip starts, u will b provided with some light snacks, but I would recommend you to take some snacks with you or have breakfast n board the . You will be provided with two complimentary and some Soft drinks. After a long ride of approx 45-60min we will be reached to grand island for scuba diving. They have provided swimming costumes for scuba on rental basis 200/- per person, this will protect you from jelly fish but this is not compulsory if you can do scuba with normally, you can. One trainer with one person will go for scuba they will instruct some instructions about the equipment and then after will go for scuba. My experience was ok not too good because I think they should provide some time at lest 15-20min to trained the person rather than instruction pass on and directly go down to water. After scuba we reached to dauna Paula beach through this will again take 45-60min then after they provide the lunch with limited quantity and limited variety one one veg and one non veg. After lunch they will provide you some tokens for the other ride like banana ride, bumper ride, parasailing and speed-jet(if you are in combo package). So overall my experience was good only I would recommend you to go with some snacks and ask scuba instructor to provide 10-15min training before go down to water so that you can enjoy under water else your diving will over within 2-3min. One more think they will also provide your video recording under water this is complimentary along with your package. So this was again a very good.
It was my first tym in sea on a boat and it was an awesome experience. The boat ride was approximately 45 mins long, which is decent enough for the price. They give the ride till aguada fort and everything between before it like jimmy's palace, and some old jail and offcourse the fort itself. If you are lucky enough you can also spot a dolphin or two. And I was among those lucky. We spotted dolphins 2-3 times. They hardly remain visible for a second or two. I took the almost last boat in the evening, so that way we were also able to get the view of setting sun while being in the boat. It was a great experience. Highly recommended.
