A nice lotus lake ! Very pristine , quiet and picturesque. Take the RS.100 ticket and enjoy your ride on the lake. Make sure you ask the boatsman to take you near the lotus clusters to get a good click of the lovely views.
Well the scene is nice and there are lots of lotus to see in the lake. Also the lake is huge and in the middle you have a small island full of birds. The place is interesting but is not managed very efficiently. The boatmen are friendly but clumsy at the same time. Our boat malfunctioned in middle of the lake.
Excellent one for spending time near #pondicherry. It is smaller one compared to chunnambar boar house.There is boating also. Very big lake. Some portions falls in pondy and some portion falls in tamilnadu. High water level in lake

Beautiful place. One can just sit back and Enjoy here. But currently under construction so there aren't frequent boat rides. Great place for Photographers, especially bird Photographers.
Use to be a fun place with calmness but now days no water in lake, desalination work going on. Even pavements are been under construction and better to go after full rainy season...
Good place to spend time and we can have boat as well here...
One of the best places for bird watching in Pondy with over 300 species of birds present here. You can also go for a leisurely boat ride!
