As many other comments are saying, this is not the location of the blue city itself. It is rather the tour operator for the blue city walk, which was one of the best walking tour of the blue city. We joined the walk a week ago, starting point was from the Rao Jodha Desert Park. We took the morning walk, and we started at 6am for the sunrise. Lakshmi, our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We walked through the Desert Park towards the water body to the blue city. We also had a chance to have breakfast served in one of the blue house and got a glimpse of the city from its rooftop. From the blue city we enter the Fort from the Fateh Gate, which otherwise would be closed for tourists. Overall, it was a great experience and highly recommended to book a guided tour with them. Note to the Blue City: The blue city itself is very dirty and it really is counter productive in attracting tourists if the streets are smelly and full or garbage. I wish this issue will be solved sooner rather than later.
Must worth experiencing in Jodhpur. City is extremely dirty though. Don't walk around in night , there are hell lots of dogs they bark and probably bite any strangers. People of blue city slums feed them and this dogs protect them from thief.
Blue city walks in the street of jodhpur was mesmerizing and i loved these streets and when you will go in it you will feel that you are somewhere in other country so I highly recommend this place during your tour of jodhpur at once
It's worth watching after exploring Mehrangarh fort . But it's not that much beautiful as seen in photographs . The Jodhpur city is blue, while Jaisalmer is gold and Jaipur is pink in colour. We can walk through the city by wandering the architecture.
No way this is blue city, the city has ver less blue painted houses. It's definitely not what we see in photos.
