Third rate lodging place without any catering service spurioysly marketed as beach resort under the guise of its well run hotel in the same name. Absolutely horrible place wiyhout any maintenance or service without even a proper independent pathway to it's entrance. Most of the time there is water tanks pumping water to nearby establishments on the pathway as depicted in the photo enclosed.
The location seems perfect for the beach view and the price is not too expensive, reasonable cost and good hygienic rooms and friendly staff
Rooms are not maintained well. It doesn't have its own restaurant. Food comes from another property and takes 60mins to 90mins to get delivered. Staff are helpful but their resources are limited of how much they can help. Location is nice but rooms needs to be maintained properly.
Location of this property is right opposite to the beach so the view is fairly good from the terrace. Though from the room lobbies there are few obstruction. Staff is very humble and helpful. There is no kitchen or laundry facility right within the property hence some challenges are there. Washrooms have average facilities. Shower area floor is very small and is shared with the rest of the bathroom so floor remains wet after use. Otherwise I had a comfortable stay.
I never came across such disgusting resort ever. Staff's here is not at all attentive or serve immediately ... Laundry given to wash is not been washed properly. There were stains on the clothes nor the laundry is given on time. Food served here is based on the order place through calls.. And the order placed are served after 2 hrs.. As we all know Kannur is known for their FOOD. I expected a lot but the Food served in this resort is Pathetic . The fruits & salads served seemed lyk it's not fresh. The restrooms in the rooms here stinks. The Television in the room does not work. I would never suggest anyone to prefer this beach resort. Overall it was a bad idea to choose this beach resort.
Very Poor .... They charge 4K per night, really i wasted my money..... No WIFI No proper morning breakfast arrangement No intercom No proper water outlet in bathroom No auto/cab available nearly... Hotel never helped customers to hire vehicle. Room Ac doesn't has sufficient cooling... Won't get tea/coffee & snacks immediately since they will order the food from near by hotel and get it for us. I booked to 2 nights... during checkin they told 4k total price for 2 nights later during checkout they said 4k is for 1 night only... The manager Rama krishanan wasn't agreed to what their staff promise during checkin. Overall the room is not worthy for 4k .... Better they should change the name from 4start beach resort to lodge.... Overall blue nile beach resort disappointed me and for 8k price for 2 days ...customers can choose better one..... Above comments are my personal experience on my stay in blue nile beach resort, kannur between 29 April to 1 may 2022.

Good and cosy place right next to the happening beach of Kannur. Staff is polite and generous. Only drawback is no kitchen available here. Anything you order from room service here comes from the city hotel which is approximately 1.6 km from this beach hotel so food takes approx 55-60 min to reach your room. Rest everything is good for a leisurely trip.
