Very supportive owner.Speaks English.He was so kind to take and drive me to the property from visitors center. Place is very quiet in the jungle, morning birds are amazing It's a new and clean property,very well managed with morning South Indian breakfast.

Great place right in the forest, really quiet lots of birds everywhere. Dogs can be noisy at night. Really nice people and the ladies make a wonderful dinner which i enjoyed most nights.

Amazing place. Good bunker dorms. The place is a bit far off though. And only the girls dorm has an AC, not the boys. Have pet dogs and cats. Rental scooters available at 200/- per day

No lightsin the streets night time don't go individual person. But a peacefully places trucking person like very much

Amazing place, peaceful, clean with super friendly staff! In the price is included a yoga class in the morning, a tasty south indian breakfast and a bicycle to hang around. You can also rent a scooter for cheap price.

Enjoyed a chilled stay here but there are a couple of things that would have been good to know beforehand. Firstly, it is far from Pondicherry - at least 30 minutes on highway and muddy dirt track roads. A cab/tuk tuk will cost ~600 rupees. Secondly, although the location is nice and peaceful there is little to do in the local area. They rent bicycles and motorbikes which are essential for exploring the local area. It's also very muddy so bring some gear that doesn't matter and decent walking shoes. There is also a serious amount of insects, normal for a rural spot, but they do invade the living space a lot making it pretty uncomfortable to chill outside. Bring plenty of repellent. Negs aside the staff were really welcoming and the dorm was clean with plenty of fans. Had some chocolate pinched from the fridge but it's not a biggie.

Rubin is one of the coolest host i have ever met. Beautiful and clean place to be in, away from city. Matrimandir is near by and lots of other places to explore are close. Its little inside but very much worth visiting their. I spent my two amazing days their meeting and inyeracting with other solo trippers from India and around the world. Highly recommended.
