After renovation I visited this place after a long time. Look wise it's good but the place has too much sitting space which makes it clumsy. Food was excellent but the only problem was when the restaurant was full, the waiter was in a hurry to clean the table without asking us if we required anything more.
I ordered Fish ball soup and Fish Dominator Fried Rice through Zomato just now. I was completely misguided by the photo of the Fish Ball with Soup. The photo uploaded by Zomato is the authentic one that we get in Tiretti Bazaar early morning for breakfast. The reality is completely different. I have added photo , the spoon I have used is a small Teaspoon so you can understand the side . It's not a Chinese Fish Ball soup. The taste is nowhere to the authentic dish. Just a waste of money. Fish Dominator Fried Rice though a bit dry still tasted good and good quantity.
I ate two dishes. Crispy baby corn was good. But chicken hot wings was not as they provided a stored chicken with odour.
This is an old place which is really close to my heart. I visit whenever I travel to Kolkata. The taste of the food makes me reminiscent of old memories.
I ordered Hot Garlick Fish and Chilli pork with capsicum n onion, the latter being claimed as signature dish. In the name of Hot garlic fish whatever was delivered was unpardonably sweet. In the Chili Pork item, it was more of green capsicum and onion mostly with occasional appearance of pork. But the fish item was simply horrible and if taken in restaurant, I would have rejected and asked for refund.
Really nice place, good ambience. Good price, not too expensive. Its Chinese is really the best attraction. Easy to reach. Right on the main road opposite to Jadavpur University gate and just beside 8B Bus Stand.

We had ordered gondhoraj fish fry and it was just amazing and refreshing. Would recommend trying it. Unfortunately, no pictures of the food.
