Blue lagoon holiday home - Resort hotel in Thrissur - Kannur, India

This is a beach house with the perfect view of the sea. It is two storey house with a nice patio and a veranda. Two rooms each with a double bed and attached washrooms make it comfortable for two couples. There is a sofa cum bed for additional sleeping space, TV, kitchen with few but basic utensils. Not a lot of restaurants nearby (only those of other hotels), but you can ask the caretaker brother for home deliveries.

We had two families staying for 2 nights . The place is clean and well maintained and the owner is friendly and agrees to your requests . The beach is just opposite the house and fairly clean and lonely . Sea was bit rough as we were around the full moon season . Finding restaurants around is an ordeal and nothing close by and since we have two cars we could manage . We had nice time and was worth the money we spent.

A fantastic experience in a beach resort. Pros: 1. Cam Area. 2. Very Near to Beach. 3. Have full facility in kitchen for self cooking (Owen, Fridge, Gas etc) 4. 2 bedrooms with A/C 5. Can take 1st floor as separate area (Kitchen only available in ground floor) 6. Best Balcony with a view to sea. 7.Parking area available for 4 Cars Maximum Cons: No Cons

This place is very well maintained and is amazing. The location is awesome with the balcony view of the beach. The beach is like a private beach and the place is very calm and peaceful. The care taker and the owner are very helpful. A perfect place to spend some time with family or friends.

Great location, however the property is not well maintained. The toilets were dirty with used soap pieces and beach sand all over. The bed had red ants that bit us all night. Some of the door handles and the shower handle was broken. Definitely not worth visiting again.

Fantastic location, ideal for a family group of 6 to 8 persons. Bring box of tissues, towels and a kitchen towel as well. Food we have a few delivered at, if you don't cook your own. Breakfast is available from around 0800 at a restaurant about 15 to 20 mins walk. Morning tea and milk can be supplied by the caretaker, who will buy it for you upon checking in.

One of the best places I've stayed at. It is right at the beach. The caretaker is very helpful and helped us with directions and food. The house was well maintained as well. Would recommend.

Good hospitality ... it's located just opposite to beach .well maintained neat and clean property , you can prepare your own as they provide induction stove... and utensils as well .....owner is very good he listens patiently and answers all the queries if any issues and really helpful including staff ... it's best property and value for money at kannur
