Quite clean and neat beach to spend time with family and kids. We can have pleasant play in the sea water and then pay and use showers are available to have a clean shower at the end. Good snacking and munching places with kids play area. No smell in the beach water and it is well maintained. Surely one can have a great time with friends and family members.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Blue Flag beach at Chennai ECR recently, and it was truly a remarkable experience. From the moment I stepped onto the golden sands, and well maintained. First and foremost, the water quality was crystal clear and inviting, it made swimming a joy. I was also impressed by the efforts made to maintain the cleanliness of the beach. Safety measures were evident throughout the beach. Lifeguards were on duty, ensuring that visitors could enjoy the water with peace of mind. The presence of well-maintained walkways and designated relaxation facilities further added to the feeling of security. What struck me the most was the commitment to environmental conservation. The beach was surrounded by lush dunes and native vegetation, creating a beautiful natural backdrop.I even spotted recycling bins, emphasizing the eco-friendly ethos of the beach. Refreshing shops and kids play ground are available. Entry fees to be paid separately for personal and vehicle. A vast car parking space is provided. Overall, the Blue Flag beach at Chennai left me thoroughly impressed. It's a shining example of a well-preserved natural treasure that offers both relaxation and education. If you're looking for a pristine beach with a strong commitment to sustainability, this one should be at the top of your list.

Its a good beach to visit in outskirts of chennai. A minimum fee is taken for entry and parking. It has ample parking space. The beach has changing rooms, showers and toilets. Early morning visits are pretty good with lesser crowd. But the toilets could be maintained better and also have more food options.

Well maintained and clean . Facilities for the restroom ,shower and changing room have been set up . Everything costs a price , with an entry fee of 20rs per adult and separate charges for vehicles they also charge for use of any facilities . They have built mini hut-like structures, with chairs under them . These are extremely comfortable and cool . There is also a spot for surfing beside it.

The place is still under development. The parking space is good, although the road to it is very tricky, especially during to way traffic. When we went, they were still building shops and only one food court was there. The shower is 20rs and toilet is 10rs, even though there is no water at times in shower. The huts and bamboo recliners are nice. Not sure if they are chargeable during peak hours. A small kids area, which is neat and equipments, is new, which is good. The beach is not completely trash free, but definitely is way better than several other beaches. Will wait for it to become fully functional including a boat pier from here to muttukadu boat pier.

It's the best beach among all in Chennai. I could see a neat and clean beach in Chennai. Many beaches are there around. However, this is maintained really well. Google map takes traveller through bad roads and leaves a bad impression to the area. I will not recommend anyone to follow google maps as it takes us through the way where a big size car may be in trouble.

Nice private beach organized by the Tamilnadu tourism Department. Well maintained Restrooms. Need some improvements in foods and staff behaviours.

It's a good spot, but it has some entry fees. But it is worth paying. You can see a video I have attached in this review, those are some clips I have taken there. That will give you an understanding how it will be. You can find people surfing and kayaking on this beach. Nice place to spend time with your family and friends. Also you can find a small bakery kind of shop. It will be expensive there for middle class people. So if you like to have food, or snack, you can bring it from outside.
