Worst stay ever. Basic amenity of water in bathrooms was not available. And when complained to the owner about it, he started saying that you have spoiled our mood. What I don't understand is how can asking for something so basic like water in taps & bathroom in a hotel can be considered too much of an ask for a customer paying full rent for a service. Please dont ever book this property ever, you will be disappointed
Our booking was scheduled on 7th of October 2022, but we had reached at dawn on that day which was quite early before their check in time (12 p.m). I ranged on a number trice and lastly responded me gently, after that a person named Chappan came and opened the gate and asked to waite at reception till check in, as they have not prepared the booked room, but he quick response at our request and provided a room for us. And we recharged ourself after a hectic journey. Perticularly this type of service pleased us at the point of service. Latter they provided another room for us. They have provided good wi-fi with speed (tested) along with TV for entertainment (we haven't use ) Only they take more time to provide food and other issue. Toilet was clean but need some development on some area like shortage /pressure of water supply .......etc. So my humble request to the management please to look in to this matter seriously so that, it would bring more pleasant and satisfaction the boarder. Staff manner is good and satisfactory. Boarder can enjoy their service.
Worst experience ever No basic amenities... no water, no proper doors, no blankets and when you ask for it the owners says you are spoiling my mood... It's the visitors whose mood you are spoiling by not providing basic amenities. On the top, owner Vivek does not have courtesy to apologise for the same. Do not stay every even for free!!!
Wonderfull place to stay at shillong, if you want to chill out at a place which is vintage by its nature than this is the place i would recommend, what a pleasent property it is, fully wooden never seen or experienced something in my life, lucky enogj to see that, 5 starr for the staff, 5 star for the food and the environment..
Excellent place, i loved everything about the place, good good, good people around, you get support for everything, i enjoyed my stay, at first i was confused seeing the coments, but overall im satisfied, But in the end i would say if you look forward for hotel as in big cities, please dont come here and insult the place, its a vintage cottage as it should be please dont waste your time and money,...im sorry i should not say but place like shillong is known for its cultural thing, and the owner is keeping it, good hygine, strongly recomended for the people who wants to stay in assam type houses which u cant even built in a city like mumbai delhi all wooden very nice environment, one should have an eye to judge and eye to judge is below our forehead
True it is, that Blooming Inn, Shillong was a sheer disappointment. It was full of shortcoming ; no parking space, rooms were non ventilative, unclean, odourful, stinking bathroom and toilet, no luggage platform, no room service, no one to tame the unruly guests, intoxicating and playing loud western music till late night, no in-house kitchen, and rather a place unsuited for family stay. What hurt me was that the driver was not accommodated and left shelterless.
The rooms are a great value for money. Just the geyser was not working when I visited. The service is okay.
The worst place to be in Meghalaya. There's nothing good except for the rude behaviour of the staff. They couldn't provide a single glass in the room. When asked for one, the reply was "We don't have any". The charges as per the location, ambience and service was way too high. I visited in the month of July, 2019.

We had a lovely stay at this property. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was top notch. Indian, khasi food and continental. Did not use the pool. But was looked very nice. Had great drinks and dinner at poolside bar.
