Bliss Homestay , Agra - Hotel in Agra - Agra, India

I have booked the entire floor for my friends Agra's visit, Place is pretty new, clean and near to Taj and also nearby many food places Staff service is very good and they are very helpful, My friends also enjoyed the stay, Overall nice place to stay.

We booked two rooms last weekend for one night. The rooms were decent but there was a big problem with the washrooms. Ours at-least had water running in shower & flush - though with very less pressure. The other room's bathroom - had 0 ventilation, no water for flushing. It had become extremely stuffy and impossible to use. The bathroom fittings are extremely rusted.

Decent property placed about a 1.5-2 km away from Taj Mahal. You can expect an amazing hospitality from the staff. The owner is wonderful and warm, hence wouldn't flinch going extra miles to make the stay comfortable. All in all, good experience.

We came to the bliss Homestay (11 guests + 2 children) on 13th Nov, 2021 for one night. Very bad experience. "Unhygienic environment (children may easily fall sick)", amenities were in bad shape, unclean bathroom, several amenities were rusted, broken. Entire curtain broke and felt down (twice). No hot water in the night. Literally we have to request for everything, which seriously hampered our other travelling plans. Difficult to park big car. We were made to stay in a place whose price should have been 70% less than what we have paid. Owner does not have any sense of cleanliness and hygiene. I would like to ask the owner whether Kitchen / Living space was available with our booking or not ? Experience was so bad, that I have to write a review for the first time. I book this place at Airbnb, Pushpit the host is a great person, he really cares about his stays. Thank you so much pushpit for worrying about me. The place is clean and good the beds are comfortable the acc work great. Is close to the taj they can even get you a rite for the taj for free! I will definitely recommend this place to stay! I went out from the hotel at 5 am and did not got back till late night and pushpit sent me a text to make sure I was doing alright, and later went I got back to hotel he came in person to make sure I was ok ! Overall it was a great stay.

Our stay at this homestay was horrible. The rooms, common space and bathrooms were full of dirt. Bathroom floor was slippery. My son and aunt fell down at the bathroom. Dirty water came from the showe in one bathroom. The kitchen condition is too bad - fridge does not work, utensils are dirty. Parking place is for 2 cars only. The only good thing was the two boys who were helping us whenever we asked them to clean or bring anything.

I must say this is so far my worst staying at any of Airbnb places be it national or international. Truly speaking so far it was so nice experience that I used to feel relax whenever my family planned for any tour with Airbnb stay. Moreover, in future as well I wanted to carry on my staying with Airbnb. However, this "Bliss Homestay, Agra" staying gave me a strong nudge and shock. After reaching there my expectations were one by one exfoliated off and it never amended back till our last minute staying. Now let me explain why am I even complaining so much? 1. First of all their declared amenities. These include free parking. a. car parking: Before entering to the property we called the host (Mr. Pushpit) regarding the parking space and he informed us we can easily park 4 cars. However, on arriving there we found the place is not fit to accomodate 4 cars easily. Moreover, they suggested us to keep our cars on road. b. Breakfast: Before entering in the house we asked Mr. Pushpit regarding breakfast. He directly denied and said no breakfast will be provided. However, as we show him the screenshot of the declared amenities he then agreed to provide breakfast. c. Coffee/tea maker: This amenity is mentioned under room features. However, there was not a single coffee or tea maker in any rooms. d. Kitchen: Have you ever seen hell? Wanna see it? I suggest you to visit Bliss Homestay once. It was literally the ultimate example of unhygienic place. e. Freezer: Absent f. Refrigerator: Only the skeleton was present g. Hot water: I got no such facility Now lets talk about cleanliness and services 1. Rooms were full of dust. Starting from door mat to table top, curtains every where it was full of dust. 2. Curtains: As I mentioned earlier these were full of dusts. Moreover, when we simply tried to drape the window the entire system fall down. Even when we informed the workers and later to Mr. Pushpit, he directly blamed us. 2. Bathrooms: Bathrooms were so dirty. Even they said it was just cleaned by sweepers, however, upon entering into the washroom we saw dirty commodes and patches of dirts. I feel puking upon seeing all these. Even when we asked the attenders to take some action so that at least for the night we can use it. They themselves were so much disgusted by the sights. Also they said they cant do anything regarding this until the swiper come by morning. Even due to the slippery bathroom my mother slipped and injured her forehead, eyes, hand, waist, hips and knee. Now if I can still forget about all the drawbacks but I can't forget about the behaviour of the host. When he came to meet us and asked about our staying we said we are facing troubles here. However, he took no such action to amend his drawbacks. Even he was not apologetic too. Instead he was so much confident that nothing can affect him besides his all drawbacks. I was really surprised about this. When we came back and wrote down our true experience he literally threatened one of our group member and badmouthing my sister. Moreover, he claimed money from us. He is really a person without any principle because people may do mistakes or be faulty but whenever you are a host you need to be polite at least. Upon seeing his reply I was quite shocked and checked review regarding his Bliss Homestay. As expected, I found quite a number of 1 star ( because there were no option to give 0 star or negative marking as if possible I would have given him negative marking). He is literally so arrogant and so mean that we really can't believe that such a host may exist on Airbnb. Hereby I am also seconding to the other online reviewers regarding this homestay as indeed Mr. Pushpit is a fraud. Finally, I don't want to contact him directly as I am literally feeling disgusting as he is not only fraud he has also spoilt our entire trip as well as our memory. Therefore, I am requesting Airbnb to take the matter under serious consideration. I am expecting justice as well.

We had booked all the 10 rooms and the restaurant area of Bliss Home stay for Haldi, Mehendi and Ring ceremony. The management was really helpful and the decoration was beautiful as per our set budget. Food was prepared by the caterer they arranged for us and it was delicious too.I would definitely recommend this place for small functions and family gatherings upto 70 people.
