Black Forest Home Stay - Home Stay in Kodaikanal - Dindigul, India

I stayed 2 times in July 2023, it was a wonderful experience in the Black Forest. I have a lot of memories with my friends in black forest.

Beautiful place to stay. The network coverage is week and is available only at particular points.

Great place to spend time with friends.Nice location and the climate also was good.

Not a review just a guide. Tent may not be available in rainy season. I have booked and cancelled my rooms because main reason place may not be tidy during rainy season and all passage was slippery and muddy hard to move within the location. Attached toilet limited to 1 or 2 rooms. Affordable rooms. Only coffee, tea and light foods available. Cooking facilities available ( Make sure before you go) Trustworthy, I got refunded all the cash after I cancelled that's why I am giving 3 stars. You have to walk around 1 km completely offroad. The road is not good for cars it's a complete jeep road. Note : Place is best preferred during non rainy seasons.

Great experience. Best place to spent at the cheapest price but with good and clean facilities. Best destination to cut yourself from the busy world outside. Tent and sleeping bags are good. Nice campfire is available and the climate with the beautiful view of the check dam is one of a kind experience. Place is worth a second visit.

This is quite an exotic place to have a nice time, this place is really economical for a tent experience.if you're going with a group of people, say more than 15, i think that this place will be one to memorize for rest of your life. This place provide really good food at low rates. But if you're wanting to have chicken and all you should tell them before hand because they have to go and get it from the town which is a little far away. They provided us with great service, they're really friendly, they'll provide you with all the needful arrangements even campfire. I personally enjoyed my time there, and if anyone is looking for a beautiful time with naturistic views and scenery this is the place to go to.

I spent a night in this home stay, the room is really small. They will provide sleeping bag, charcoal for grilling etc. the stay is average but the dam and thick forest nearby are beautiful, so it's a good choice. You will be able to truck into the forest and come back to have a swim in the dam, while keeping all your luggage at this place.

First of all let me thank these people for the their warm welcome and hospitality. It was a heavenly experience for us. This place is reasonable in all aspects. Our stay there was for 2 days and 2 nights, we were provided with all the basic amenities and never felt any sort of inconvenience. One will never forget rossy and tommy(two beautiful and crazy trained guide dogs) who were with us throughout the trip. The connection we had with the nature was ubiquitous. Thank you black forest for an unforgettable experience. Can't wait to visit again.
