It's a restaurant managed by Indian Army. You get lip smacking south Indian food. Idly dosa Vada combo was awesome . Ambience is pristine . Teesta river flows right behind and it's a view to relish with a piping hot tea or coffee. They have different sections for the public and personnel of the Army. A souvenir store must be checked out. A small shop outside serves sandwiches. Ample parking space is really appreciated.
Run by Army and open for public, a professionally managed restaurant. Beautiful location on the banks of River Teesta. Great ambiance. Simple South Indian menu, but great on the taste buds... They also have a small souvenir shop. A great place to stop on the way to Gangtok.
I was traveling with family from Gangtok to Naamchi and looking for options for breakfast and was surprised when i found this beautiful picturous and good eating joint and most importantly I was pleasently surprised to found it run and managed by Indian Army , it has all veg options from Idli,Vada,Dosa ,Aloo Paratha ,Uttam, Tea and Coffee. All fresh and tasty . It does have a small shop at front but i found it costly compared to Gangtok. Overall good food joint on the main road .
