Nothing but an usual place with some crocodiles and deers kept in captivity. Has a mangrove project also with al types of mangrove species found in the Sundarban region.
This place is just beside that Bakkhali bus stand. It is basically a zoo. There are many crocodiles and deer to see. There is a facility to stay also. But, this place is not that much interesting comparing to nearby other places. The entry fee is Rs.10 per person. However, the place can be enjoyable to the children.
Nothing special, low maintenance. Lucky to see few Crocodiles, though they are sleeping. No guard or officials are there to support, all the people are shouting around the net, throwing stones to the animals. Deer park is nice. Mangrove trees are also not maintained properly.
Crocodile breeding centres are something that you will not usually come across in big cities. But when you move out and travel to these small, remote places like Bakhhali and Sundarbans, you will surely find many such extraordinary projects. This place, which also includes a deer park inside, is one of the premier attractions for tourists visiting the secluded & faraway coastal town of Bakhhali. It's situated just adjacent to the Bakkhali Bus Stand. During my visit, I was elated to experience a surreal natural environment & saw several mangroves emerging from the shallow coastal waters. However, I didn't come across any crocodile, maybe due to the lockdown factor they have shifted the crocs to some safe and protected shelter. Overall, this place is recommended for a one-time visit.
Nice place to visit with kids. Well maintained place. Loved the atmosphere during winter days. Many deers are there. Crocodiles can be seen easily. Birds and many mangroves can also be found here. You can enjoy the natural beauty from watch tower located at Centre of the project.
Nice place. Eco friendly place. Ticket price - Rs 20 Different types of mangroves with name, scientific name, common name , etc. Very good place for botany, interested students. This project has crocodile and many deers.

This place destroyed in Amphan cyclone in 2020. No more crocodile is there. But no doubt a beautiful place. No entry fee also. Toilet facility available over there. Just besides busstand.
